I totally agree with you about people accepting their natural beauty and bodies as God gave them. That said, "back in the day", people still wore makeup. In fact, they gave themselves lead poisoning with the earliest makeup and destroyed the skin on their faces to *avoid* showing bare skin.

Hi Quay, It makes me happy that the younger generation is discovering George. You have no idea of what you've found, a true treasure. I suggest you check out on your own, some other reactions on youtube. Look at all the songs most requested, & then continue on with his body of works, and then continue on your own reactions to George Michael. There are only 35+ years to catch up on. I know that sounds like a long time however you will see how much has been missed in the US. George did so much more music that many have never heard before either. So, to make it interesting, go beyond the most known songs and discover his beautiful, sometimes sassy music. You won't be sorry, he's the best singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer I've ever heard, And as for the man. such a beautiful heart and soul which you will see if you choose to know more. I saw him sing this live in 1984 at Exhibition Stadium, Toronto,Canada.
It was the Wham Make it Big Concert,the pointer sisters were the opening act.
I was 14 and loved it
Went to another concert in 1991 Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto 👍 it was when he was a solo artist.
