    What an amazing life.
    And what a disappointing interviewer.

Ricky Jay learned the Aces Assembly directly FROM Vernon. He is among the primary artists and hucksters bridging the old world of arcane illusion to the new school of sleights. Queens 4 ways will always be my favorite version of this effect. The patter, the mechanics, the obsequious nod to giants' shoulders, everything flawless.

I was not into magic until I started watching this guy with long hair and a suit on a late 70s 80s videos...the more I watched ..the more he had me hooked like a trout....his references to the oldskool magic is awesome..and he pays homage to the greats....of course his tutelage under the professor Dai vernon....you are missed ricky jay!!!

Strangely, as GREAT a magician as Ricky Potash was. ASK any single person on the. street, in a bar or a library, aboard a US Navy aircraft carrier, OR thousands of Magicians around the world, with the exception of a few magicians in the SAM, IBM, and the Magic Circle. Not ONLY does no one REMEMBER HIM! 99.99% of the people of the world HAVE NEVER HEARD OF HIM.
