Great music and I like that bar crossing section, especially the return. Nice to see it another way from your perspective and the tent looks good with those battens. Keep up the good work and keep these Sydney raids coming out.
Fantastic Len....thanks for the bar crossing, I think I will stay clear of that one. The weather and locations looked wonderful and you can see why others in different states get a bit jealous. I hope your build- cation goes quickly and we can do it all again, cheers Paul
Thanks Paul. Your boat wouldn't be suitable for the Patonga creek bar even at high tide. That extra draft would make it very difficult. There are many better options available for you to launch KL. Thanks for your comment.
@@sailinglisajane Thanks Len I realise that now but you crossing the bar made some great viewing. It Looks like Dave Porter is going to get an inflatable kayak as well, we can have a race, cheers Paul
Great videos and a beautiful boat. I have just started sailing and recently bought a Mirror Dinghy. I am at Coal Pt. If you need someone to “look after” Lisa Jane while you build just let me know! 😂
Hi Ross. Thanks for your comment. Mirror's are a great dinghy and perfectly suitable for dinghy cruising although you will need to travel light - but still better that bushwalking with a pack. :-) I've discovered a place to rent with boat storage - yeh!! so Lisa Jane is coming out of storage and will be at the Myall Lakes raid on 20-22nd May (weather permitting).
@@sailinglisajane good to hear you are all set for the rental accom 👍 what are your thoughts about an outboard for the Mirror? I have been thinking about an electric motor but I am concerned about the impact of a capsize on it and the battery. Based on the RAID Sydney videos I have watched it looks like some type of motor is a must have.
@@MrSynchronise Hi Ross. I don't rate electric outboards. In my last video, what you didn't see was me towing Kate Louise because he wasn't sure he had enough battery left for an emergency. I have a 5hp Tohatsu and I love it. The Mirror could get away with an even smaller one.
Felt as if I was right there with you, I'm putting together an old 14' aluminum boat and rigging it for sailing Sheridan Lake here where I am, it has a crazy personality with gusts and such, and you describing how you go helps a bunch!
Thanks for your comment Terry. Sadly I've needed to put Lisa Jane into storage for 7-9 months while we do a knock down-rebuild. Looking forward to joining you guys again after that. Cheers, Len
With any luck I will get this open ts 14 back in the water here in Alaska, sometime before winter. This has been a very I spirational video.
glad to hear it has encouraged you. would love to see a photo of your 14 when you get it back in the water. cheers, Len
Another great film Len!
Thanks for your comment. Glad you enjoyed it.

thanks for commenting Bruce. All the best with your resto. Post a video when you get a chance.
Great video. Really enjoyed it. That stretcher looks great. I hope to meet you and Lisa Jane in person on a raid sometime soon. Cheers, Terry.
