--------
In a revealing interview, host Shawn Perez and Hector Berrellez discussed a significant problem between Mexico and the US. Hector described how, in Mexico, criminal acts are glorified in popular culture with songs celebrating cartels and the children aspiring to be like kingpins due to their visibility and apparent success. Hector explained that this phenomenon stems from a lack of government support and systemic issues like poverty, which creates a perception that kingpins contribute more to communities than the government itself. Hector said this situation results in young people, particularly Mexican-American youth, being steered toward crime. He recognized a similar situation in many American cities, where poverty-stricken minority children often feel pressure and accusing the US government of turning a blind eye to the issue.

Does anyone in mexico make an honest living?? How could you ask something so stupid
fair question ... legal money is only 10k per household per year
@@arhamkhan8933thats like saying everyone in Iran is a terrorist.
Ignorance, I have a huge family in MX, and no one sells or is in the drug business. We have doctors lawyers teachers in my family. This guy's an idiot
Ignorance at its finest.
Mexico is extremely rich. They got more money than most american
Crazy how it’s similar to how black people idolize rappers rapping about drugs, gun and bitches 🤷🏽♂️
U okay bro
@@RealReelsRightHere 😂 we be on they minds rent free. You know dude miserable ass hell lol
He stated a fact. @@hitthisloudgbeforeichangem5749
@@RealReelsRightHereis he lying tho?
@@hitthisloudgbeforeichangem5749he’s telling the truth tho… our favorite rappers are always ones who promote murder… or you’re telling me you like fkn country music?? Pop music??? Exactly nah you don’t
You can hear the pain in Hectors voice like he almost wants to cry at how sad this is and how engrained it is in our culture.
So do better bro what's stopping yall? Instead yall glorifying this
@@smithbucky2612😂😂
@@smithbucky2612You’re goofy, dude. I’m supposed to go and stop the importation of illegal drugs? I’m supposed to go out and convince people to stop using drugs? Bro, I work a 9-5, have my own people to take care of, and hobbies and shit. It’s not my place. Any of ours. Blame the American government. Look up CIA-coups. They want drugs on the streets. They want countries to stay underdeveloped, weak, and divided (easier to control). We all just waste our lives on the internet and go through the motions. If you want me to get out and get rid of the cartels, why don’t you go and stop U.S. politicians from diddling kids on Epstein Island #2.
@@edgarcota3097 lol so easy. just go stop cartels LOL. American or whatever telling ppl to fix probs like this. i guess mexican americans have to fix it. same i hear/read about other countries. like wow.. we can't fix countries dude. some just surviving. or even if doing well really well or nearly doing well i mean, we got our own concerns. let alone stopping the war machine of drugs, or other shyt.
No different than gangster rap and American kids wanting to grow up to be rappers tbh
💯
Nailed it 👍👍
The cartel is on a whole other level
Wrong most gangster rap was bought and still to this day supported by whites that misunderstood the message that’s why the only reason the government and music industries payed attention to rap music is because their kids were listening to it. Like Kanye said “They say you can rap about anything except for Jesus
That means guns, sex, lies, videotaped. But if I talk about God, my record won't get played,” record companies won’t support honorable and artistic elevation unless the artist is talking about how to effectively promote what they want the black youth to hear.
@@dmcfail987no cap it’s basically a whole black market corporation except instead of being fired you get killed and paying your taxes is bribing the government
Mexico needs to go the El Salvador route and get rid of all the gangs. El Salvador is cleaning house and it’s paying off big time
Won’t work those were small wannabe gangsters,Mexico cartels will wipe out a generation to send a message
“Allegedly”…its all a front and propaganda. They are not doing s**t
Mexico will become a warzone before that happens
Agreed, however, Mexico is much larger and El Salvador was not pushing narcotics into the US, it was much easier to dismantle their gangs. Mexico is a lost cause.
It was much easier to dismantle them cuz they didnt have the power As the Cartels do .. Mexican Cartels is way much Bigger not only in power but in Money and that what controls the World
Americans blaming other countries for being drug addicts 😂😂😂
Can you believe that? Smh
Well it’s all the shit hole countries that sell drugs to make money bc lord knows ain’t enough money wherever y’all are from 😂😂😂😂😂
Yea that was back than, nowadays when they talk about fetty and addicts they talk about em like they were just trying to get high they didnt know any better lol
where do you think these addicts families come from
@@arhamkhan8933Ohio?
Peso pluma is not dedicating songs to El chapo he's being paid from someone in that cartel to make a corrido for that person which is a song the cartels pay alot of money to get songs made about themselves by big artists so they can be glorified and remembered
Chill he ain't chalino lol
🤷🏻♀️
@@jackyray6088 every corrido gets paid for peso pluma even has corridos of lower level cartel members that no one has ever heard of yet why? Because they paid him to make it
dude still looks like a druggie lowkey still sold his soul if thats true what youre saying
@@jackyray6088 But alot of mexican singers get paid to make corridos for people.
Did he really ask if anybody in Mexico have an honest living?? Wow. Out of Pocket.
Imagine if someone asked him or another black interviewee if anyone from africa or of African descent had an honest living or were nonviolent? This page would explode
You acting like that's not a fair question. Most of Mexico are drug dealers and glorify that culture. It's a reason every huge drug kingpin comes from Mexico. And a reason Cartels literally on every single level RUN Mexico 🇲🇽
dude just ignorant doesnt know typical american just think other countries dont do anything and are dumber. not realizing their all the exact same almost
The funny part of this is that there wouldn't be narcos if the US didn't loved drugs, its literally part of our culture.. nobody is forcing no one to do drugs and the music industry in Mexico talking about the drug lords, listen to the rap songs here in the US it's the same thing.
I honestly feel like we just like to blame others for our problems, the US is the number one drug consumer in the world, cocaine is our cup of tea.
So as long as there is demand there would be supply even in high security prisons there are people getting high
@@Reservoirdogtv That’s crazy that you immediately mention black people instead of any other race because that is not the same there is no Cartel activity that works with black Americans that black people are ok with. In fact the government purposely put drugs in our communities to try and destroy black communities.
This guy acting as if the narcos themselves DON'T pay artists to write music for them to stroke their egos
Hold the USA accountable for all the drugs we use then.
Honestly all the Mexican people I've met were really cool down to earth positive hard working people. I understand what he's saying but he's painting a bad picture about Mexicans in general.
I'm Mexican but he's speaking facts. You get the hard workers but the new generation glorifies the narco culture
yeah deep down they support all this stuff
maybe being too nice is a problem, its why they look the other way when it comes to narco problems.
@@EGonzalez915 Narcos have always been glorified aint nothing new.
@@EGonzalez915perhaps more do now. It is still a.minority though.
He actually loves good Mexican ppl, Hector himself was raised Mexican, he’s only talking about ppl who glamorize the narco culture

Mexicans are the hardest working people in the world. Ask google. Most Mexicans are NOT cartel members. The United States supplies the cartels with guns and work along side the cartels. This interviewer is a goofy.
Bruh.. you clearly don’t get the point
"El Azul" is the song that Peso Pluma made for the cartel. Hes made other songs but this one is the most in your face amd popular. El Azul was a cop who turned cartel and led all the cartels when they were together

Wasn’t Peso Pluma threatened if he performed at some concert in Tijuana ?

Excellent interview
If mexico could put all its energy into science and tech man would north america would be so much powerfu. Number one .
Usa will never allow that
Open your eyes, vato...
who said that "Peso Pluma Dedicating Most of His Songs to the Sinaloa Cartel " ???? lol
This guy has definitely seen and heard alot.
… i 😍 peso pluma’s music!
his music is dope
Dude definitely has the cartel face. I see how he fooled everyone.
I stand for Mexico vmc baby 😁🇲🇽🇲🇽
I wish someone would ask him about rosalino sanchez felix
yes! mexico has people making an honest living what kind of stupid question is that ! it's like asking if the united states has any sober u s citizens left cause the u s a is a huge drug consumption nation . Their is drug dealers in the u s a everywhere you go high class and low class in the ghettos and in the suburbs some using the drugs and some selling the drugs . we got powerful street gangs of all kinds that help distribute the drugs and help carry out other crimes related to the drug business and they don't care about anything but the money they themselves hate their own cops and government .
Peso Pluma cold 🥶🔥
I never heard him say anything about PESO PLUMA?
Maybe the US should control the addiction problem and then no one would buy drugs
and why Sylvester Stallone speaks about that??
😂
All i know, is if theres no demand suppliers go broke. I wear a free chapo hat because my dope was cheaper when he was out. 💀 Free chapo🇲🇽
VIVA MEXICO🇲🇽
How about going against all fast food restaurants for causing the obesity in America
I feel like the interviewer is good but listening to other clips I feel like he gives his opinion which might influence the guest to answer the question slightly different,so try and limit your opinion.we already know you're name and consistency we build your name.
It's true I've heard El Chapo built airports to help the people that need emergency help to hospital etc..
The way this man claims US and diss his own country and people is alarming. Mesicans are hard working people , the cartels are the minority with power . But they dont represent the majority of the population
You have to be joking, right? He is an American, born in the USA who is calling out the corruption in the Mexican government, the drug cartels and the US government. He is telling the truth about what has been going on and is still happening. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about his family of Mexican descent or the people of Mexico. 🇲🇽
So it’s not just a black thing to celebrate drug dealers
Difference is cartels build up cities n towns. Blk American drug dealers blow it off of strip clubs and date outside their race
This is a fascinating interview, one of your best. Wear a Latin blessed Crucifix ,Miraculous Medal, and St Benedict medal around your neck for protection. Pray 3 Hail Mary's every morning & night, make sure a valid Priest or Bishop blesses your Holy Medals.
Those songs where made way back in the day.the new artist get tricked by cartels to singing for them not like back im the day someone pay the artist to make a song about someone and it was rare if really got hurt like the way cartels are really hurting people.
He tells it like it is … 👏
Ella baila sola is a song about the Sinaloa cartel 😂
ella baila sola was one song that got him hella famous at 23 years old. Peso pluma has been singing corridos since 2020
not hating on him im js, you comment kinda actling like he just makes love songs or the bulk of disography is romantic/love songs
It's just music. Just some kid who likes cartel crap. He'll grow out of it as he get older. And by 2025, Peso Pluma will be yesterday's news and people move on to someone else. That's the music business in a nutshell.
This is such a bias painting of mexican people and their country. Also ntce the narrators bias to painting amercan drug dealers positivley
This country benefitting from it. It’s simple. They know if they tried anything the cartel will win lol they’ll even team up together and do it 😂
America you have junkies an drug user in the millions
Peso pluma has several CJNG songs
The only difference with him. Is that he works for the government. N gets pay to do what narcos do.
Mikki mase all grown
Yo Vlad check your title guy bro.
what do you know about mexico
I usually agree with Hector, but on this one he seems to be out of touch
Always remember there is more good guys then bad guys...they just over spoken on ..all the glorified stories are sh1t
Sorry that you only know that part of my country. But like this guy said music here in the US don't help. Pimp's and All that stupid stuff. If there was no demand for this drugs then no drugs dealers. But everyone else is stupid ha? Stop blaming someone else for your mistakes
That such a stupid justification 😂 people on the internet are so dumb in there morale high ground
Nothing you say can justify the high murder rate and torturing.. y'all's fault y'all can't conduct business without using extreme violence.. fucking lame ass excuses from a cheerleader
Shawn to interview this man you don’t have to capacity to do so, you been shelter and lied to your entire life
Look at him, he wears the same style outfit as Rafael Quintero and talks about corridos that have been around years. hypocrit
