@@bionicrat I started looking at this show at a very young age too, actually I started watching all soaps at a very young age, (4 years old). Courtesy of my grandmommies 🙂
It was this storyline that brought me back to the show - I had stopped watching for a few seasons, but from this point on I watched every episode until the end of the series.
Yeah, the show had a little resurgence after this cliffhanger. The Jill/ Valene cliffhanger was one of my all time favorite Soap Opera cliffhangers. Master job!
Thanks for the upload. I always loved it when they put Val in situations where only she and the audience know the truth and no one else believes her. This was like a repeat of the babies storyline for me with fantastic acting and writing at the core.
Thanks for the upload !! I do love the creepy music that plays when Jill walks in.. Only knots landing can put a fun moment in a scene.. during serious scene..Like with the chewing gum.. XD I forget the actress name ..But she was in a lot of things In the 80's..xd Some ending !!
They did a fantastic job with the music when Jill was contemplating another attempt in Val's life. Plus the ending when Val's roomate said she "heard every word you said" with the music and Jill's reaction was the cherry on top.
This is the greatest soap ever, Knots Landing started my love for soaps, Well written, every Thursday me, my father, my mother and my brother, spent Thursday nights watching this amazing soap, before this I would laugh at the idea of my family watching soaps, ( I did remember as kid my family watching Search For Tomorrow, and I loved Liza and Travis, because I found them to be a cute couple, just didn't understand until Knots, then I got into Guiding Light, As The World Turns, in the 80's and would sit through Capitol (I didn't like it at the time to get to Guiding Light) . Wish Lorimar would release all of the seasons, rerun them again, stream them, Knots Landing is the greatest soap ever, with Edge Of Night my second favorite and Santa Barbara my third.
The BEST is Jill talking internally. “ You put me through a lot of trouble.” She does this again when visiting Mrs. Bailey in the hospital. She asks Mrs. Bailey “ How are you feeling?” Internally she says what she really feels , “ The doctors say you haven’t got a chance!”
"Olivia don't be silly... you can't make someone commit suicide" Knots had the best writing. It's like when Karen walked into the club after Abby hid Peter's dead body in the DJ booth and noticed the coffee pot on the floor "Oh well, at least no one was hurt" 😆
Squeezing an IV tubing that appeared to be only normal saline WILL NOT KILL SOMEONE. IV Medications are run through an IV Pump. Any occlusions the pump will beep to alert staff to check ASAP.
I might be wrong but I think there is something missing from this scene. When Jill goes into the restroom and gets sick, doesn't she go into a stall, grab a plunger and start destroying everything!?
No you are thinking of the scene where she throws the telephone when learning Valene survived. Or there is also a scene before Jill’s attack, where Van Ark goes to Jills office and completely destroys it, knocking over lamps and furniture as a warning to back off.
I heard every word you said.
Damn Knot's was so damn good!
No show could ever out do Knot's writers. The best
Yes indeed this was my show and I was 9 years old looking at this show I loved I way more than Dallas Abbey was the female version of JR EWING😂

"And I know what I know now"!!!😂Gary & Val together forever❤❤

The season 9 cliffhanger and the following of it in season 10 is one of my all time favorite cliffhangers/storylines they did.
Still can't believe they made a villain out of Jill !! XD

4:40 Jill realizes she's not the only crazy woman in the room!

LOVED MS. Jill Bennett!!!
I would've believed Val immediately. She was right about her twins being alive and Ben not coming back. Val was never wrong. Poor Val.
This segment hit a range of notes

Teri Austin really nailed the role. Jill's descent into madness was executed a lot better than Katherine Wentworths on Dallas.
I Wonder what would Peter say on her madeness
@@westwardstar1686Teri Austen had a lot more depth than Morgan Brittany. She was a really strong actress.
As Abby warned, "The first Mrs. Ewing doesn't go away. Ever."

6:03 brilliant Joan Van Ark acting!
Jill obviously didn't know Val's history. Even J.R. couldn't get rid of her and he'd been trying since the 60's - LOL!
>Olli
Jill didn't know vals history well why on Earth she thought she could pursuade her to take an overdose she had to think she would fall prey to her .
It was nice that Jill found time to lighten her hair 3 shades after a gruelling evening of travelling by air and forcing someone to take an overdose.
And get longer

Lol she pinched the saline tube as if it would do anything lmao.

You're thinking of a scene in "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle."
Jill is so evil
