And everytime there is a little tweak when this happens and because of that there are contradiction in shiv puran and vishnu puran about kon pehle aaya shiv ya vishnu. These are the stories that passed down to us through yugas.
Shiv, Vishnu and Brahma are 3 forms of same one almighty god. One parbramha divided his energy in these 3 to maintain activities of cosmos. All 3 have different powers to perform their roles in the universe.
They say in every yug, all 3 are created to create a new universe, maintain it and destroy it. They have almost similar family in each yug. That’s how Ramayan happened so many times, once in each new yug. Very interesting stories we have heard in our childhood.
