Karakus interviews Shigeru Ban with Gokhan Avcioglu of the Gad Foundation at the Mozaik showroom in Ortaköy, Istanbul hosted by Yaman Erturan on May 5, 2023. Gokhan Karakus and Shigeru Ban spoke about the development of his paper tube system following his earlier paper tube house from the 1998 earthquake in Turkey and the role that architects can play in post-disaster humanitarian relief.
