'Twenty years ago a video recording of a show of mine at the Royal Albert Hall in London was issued. As time has gone by, I’ve been keen to ‘capture’ another performance, as the music has changed immeasurably since that time, evolving as it has to make me the musician I am today. I have had several albums released since that VHS in 1987 and never been able to preserve the best of that material in performance until now. At last, this is my first DVD! Coming together in Spilsby Theatre in Lincolnshire, we have made time stand still for you in this set of song recorded on one evening in November 2007. The experience for me was truly magical.' - Barbara Dickson

Great, wonderful artist. I travelled from Malta to London specifically to see her in concert during the "Time and Tide" tour. Awesome performance. During the programme signing session after the concert, I told her that I had come over from Malta and she said "Oh, that's lovely ... so you came all this way to see me?" Such a sweet lady.

I have seen BD in concert many times over the last 30 years.. she is a very very good live singer.
After this horrendous virus has passed and we can get back to normal I hope she does another tour.

It's a pity that you never do a gig in the Netherlands

The song that she sings at 48m is called Oh Waly Waly and dates from 1600. It refers to the ostensibly unhappy first marriage of James Douglas, 2nd Marquis of Douglas to Lady Barbara Erskine. Esther Ofarim sings a great version.
