    I love the format you found here, 10-15min of pure EDH action. I find it way better than 1.5 hour of gameplay with all chit-chat included....don't get me wrong, I really like the friendly vibe of those videos, but they are way too long

    • @palm0607
      @palm0607 2 роки тому +1

      Yes I don't like the mindlessly chit chat in-between plays on some channels....this channel gets it done right.......

      If you do still enjoy some chitchat/bullshitting mixed in with the longer videos, i suggest checking out @MTGTheStack. Their videos are 30 mins to an hour 15 long, and their bullshitery is actually kinda funny too, not just senseless.

      Just a heads up though, Adrian and especially Calvin are kinda unhinged. Also worth noting, since its the same 8 people that play usually, the pods feel very balanced most of the time because they know each other very well and have been playing together for years so they know how to keep a semi consistent power level across the board.

      I don’t mind them but when you don’t have time and want to watch a 10-15 min commander vid this is definitely the channel I come to

      Its also like not super high cEDH decks so the games dont end in like 4 turns. It rarely happens here

    I love your Trostani deck Muddstah, glad it hasn't been taken apart after so long.
    I would also like to note the missed War and Peace trigger because of Trample damage.

    When I saw that Twinning staff was still in play after a turn, I knew that Seb was going to have an easy win.

    It's always such a huge treat to see you playing your trostani deck again. I build the deck, after I returned to Magic from a long hiatus, when I first discovered your channel.
    Now my version of the deck is somewhat different from your current one but nevertheless I fully enjoy seeing you play Trostani in the channel after so long.

    Okay so I actually tuned out of the Ghired deck games because I was so sad Trostani was gone, I'm so glad she's back, this made my day, even if you pronounce it hard A instead of soft A (like Draw)

    man, you ever watch a game where 2 people get so focused on beating the shit out of each other and almost ignore the rest of the table, because that felt like max and marie this game.

    Do you choose the most balanced games to post? Because all your games are always balanced, even though the decks are clearly on different investment buildings. Or you have a pregame talk about what's to expect? Love your work. Congrats.

    Marie missed about two or three Sword of War and Peace triggers... I don't know if the extra life would've saved her in that last turn, but still.

      @@DarkEinherjar sure but in that instance I don't believe having the extra Mana would have killed her either, plus she could have made an extra turn to build more defenses. I get what you're saying, but sometimes your opponent having that much Mana may or may not matter

    I think the decimate should fizzle since it couldn’t target a creature? But I’m not sure?

    • @jambostringo
      @jambostringo 2 роки тому +1

      No, the spell will resolve, destroying what it can.

    • @DarkEinherjar
      @DarkEinherjar 2 роки тому +1

      As long as it has at least one legal target remaining, the spell or ability will still try to resolve as many effects as it can.
      Decimate will only fizzle if all four targets become illegal or leave the field.

      Only four of my creatures could attack. Marie had way too many life for me to kill her and Andrew while Max only had 4. I drew enough to be able to kill them on my next turn. My only concern was the ''maybe'' of Andrew having Aetherflux.

    imo doesn't matter. you play Aetherflux Reservoir. Card needs to be banned.

    • @Punk3r77
      @Punk3r77 2 роки тому

      It's only overpowered with a bolas' citadel, you have to put in some actual effort in order to gain the life needed to actually end the game without the citadel

    • @Devilish420
      @Devilish420 2 роки тому +2

      Aetherflux Reservoir by itself isn't too bad unless you're playing it in a spellslinger deck or a lifegain deck where you're gaining a crap ton of life quickly. Other than that, Bolas's Citadel really makes that card way more OP than it is.
