I was here. I went to see Rogwr last night and i5 reminded me of this gig. I remeber it being so amazing. I had to come back and watch it to make sure I wasn't imagining it from being smashed. It was unreal. Listening to it now. Oh my, I was blessed to be there. My 21st birthday weekend. I was also proposed to that weekend. Great glasto
thanks for posting this video however i was there im sure there was more performances, especially the helicopter part i remember it tricked everyone, those 4 speaker posts had 3D sound, as the helicopter sound played it was like a REAL helicopter was flying low over the crowd everyone looked up, but all along it was the speakers its just audio no chopper lol that part missing in this video,
Graham Broad doing a great job with rototoms as ussually.
Sommerseth?!
Sommerseth ? There's no H in Zummerzet.
Sorry, I respect Roger and all but this really is a poor man's Floyd. Listening to it with my eyes closed it sounds like a covers band.
Oh and I don't think Roger can sing for shit. I'm a Sid and Dave Floydian.
@@ojwatts2647 hahaha you must be deaf dude! 😝
yeh i was there. it was a bit poor. have you heard of a band called the australian pink floyd, they are very good.
@@dealgood I was a fairly new Floyd fan when I went to Glastonbury to see Roger. I feel it was better in the flesh (excuse the pun). It was my first taste of Floyd live so although not the best recording, it's still a special one. 20 years after this, I got my first gig playing with Aussie Floyd, playing 50 shows with them this year, and it all began with this performance
If anything, hearing Pink Floyd and David Gilmour perform much of the Floyd's music, especially SOYCD, is like a cover band. Here we have the man who wrote the lyrics and actually sang the fucking song singing it live. Only in the fantasy land of Dad Rock David fanboys does this sound like a cover band.
