It was 8 degrees when my husband left for work this morning. We live in N. GA. I’ve had to shut my chickens up inside their coops to keep the wind out and I had a frozen egg this morning that had split due to the cold last night. I let it thaw and scrambled it up for lunch. Wasn’t going to let it go to waste. 😊I’m not built for snow. I can deal with the high humidity and heat of southern summers but cold? Nope. I think a live would be pretty awesome but the time difference would be challenging.
I live in Oregon and we've been covered in ice and snow too. We had to keep our hens in too. But no eggs, I think they're too cold and confused. They're used to free ranging in the afternoons. 🥴
@@kristiseidel5935 mine are hardly laying but I’d checked yesterday and no eggs. This morning I went to open the doors so they could get out into the run and I found the frozen egg. No worries, it scrambled up great! Oregon is beautiful, we visited last August and walked through lava tubes. I have a cousin that lives in Bend so I got to see her and eat with her family. And keep the snow out there-Georgia doesn’t do well with snow!! 😂😂
Wow! So cold!! At least you were still able to eat that egg! I go back and forth about wanting to live in the snow or not. We have a place near Lake Tahoe so we get to visit the snow often just not sure if I’d actually want to live there.

I loved this !! And I use the 6 month planner here and there. I use it for a while and switch back to the daily plan books. But it is a great plan book ! Funny story. I too tried the dashes the Hannah showed - and mine are not so cute !! Haha

Great layout! Use a piece of scotch tape to separate the PET tape. I wrap a piece of tape, sticky side out, around my index finger and press it to the front of the tape close to the edge then use my nail to tease the back layer off. Works like a charm!

We got 8 inches here in Nashville! My girls had a ball playing and rolling in the snow! School has been cancelled until at least Thursday so of course they are loving the time at home.
