i love it when people don’t consistently use models in their makeup tutorials. it gets so tiring seeing the same facial structure in every video. “everyday people” have different looks and when you’re starting out as a makeup artist (like me), you have to learn how to do makeup on a variety of faces. i think videos like this are super helpful. ❤️

I think we’ve all made makeup mistakes or it may not turn out the way we thought or envisioned, but we need to remind ourselves that it’s just makeup, it will wash off. I feel that when you do makeup on every day people, it really does help everyone connect with someone. This also allows your techniques to seem realistic for me because I relate more to the people you are using them on ❤️
Models vs. non-models: When it comes to a look that focuses on specific colours, looks and general techniques models are fine. When it comes to changing and sculpting, diminishing minor issues while bringing out other features, non-models are the best. I would love to see 40% models and 'editorial' looks - and 60% non-models and tips and tricks that you can use on people with heavy eyelids, textured skin etc. You can't see it in my picture, because I have become quite good at covering it up, but I have watched thousands of makeup tutorials and NEVER seen ANYONE mention the eye issues that I have myself, which is hooded lids (also a semi-lid over the lash line! 😳) and shadows ABOVE my hooded lids - under the brow by the nose. NOone mentions those issues. Could be fun to see someone give it a try. Love your channel, personality, talent and content (as I've mentioned before). 🥰 Love from Denmark, Scandinavia ❤️
hooded lids is when you cannot see your eyelid at all. I viewed your prof pic and you do not have that, possibly semi hooded but not completely. Think of the stereotypical appearance of an asian eyelid, that is what a hooded lid is but often asians arent the only ones that have it.
You have the same issue as me! I have semi hooded eyes and a bit downturned. My hooded part covers my outer crease to the point where wing liner is impossible! I wish I could find videos for eye looks for our eye problem areas!

Her eye arent very hooded or hooded all the way to the end, you can still see her lid when she has them open and there is no fold where the wing goes
