Just picked up Penguins out of a whim for fun at my local card shop and this video is exactly what I needed, thank you good sir
I'm an avid Penguin player myself, and love the combo strings you showed here.
Here's a fun one the members of the Penguin server discovered that you may like:
On the combo starting with RPG and Ice Barrier, when you get to where you have Brave, flipped-up Puny, Squire, and Nope, you can sync Puny, Nope, & Squire into Trishula (if you choose to not drop Squire's level). Since Puny's resummon and Trish's banishes are both WHEN effects, you can chainblock one with the other.
That’s one of my go-to lines for going 2nd! I don’t usually do trish going first but the hand rip can definitely come up in certain matchups
Love the combo guide! My favorite going second synchro monster to get out is White aura whale!

Sometimes I’ll swap out the two kragen spawns and put in one whale and one Graydle Dragon if I’m going for more power and less control in my build.

Dunno why it takes them so long to print the rest of the Penguin Brave cast. The deck is genuinely really fun and if it gets something like Circular then it could potentially become a solid rogue deck

i have been waiting years to play a penguin deck, I had a build back in the day before the new support that used penguins. Happy to see they're getting some love

As a fellow Penguin deck 0layer, seeing these combos made me smile.
One thing I play in my Penguin ED is Number 75 as a deter to Nibiru. In some of these combos, the three rack space rock would ruin your boards. Still, very fun reads on this.
I've seen this combo guide countless times at this point to memorize all the possible routes and I gotta say penguins really are something else
A tech I personally really like is icejade ran aegirine as a backup plan. By discarding a water monster from your hand you have a water tuner without even wasting your normal summon, which can be chengying or gymir aegirin which are both incredible in the right circumstances

Personally, I like to use Icejade Cradle and Icejade Tremora to help get Great Emperor Penguin on the field. On a good hand I can usually end on Brave + a face down, Marincess Aqua Argonaut and Toadally Awesome but your combos are more interesting imo... definitely gotta peep your decklist video

The otk combo doesnt need an extra discard if you open ice barrier instead of foolish goods

True! But since I’m playing ice barrier I need to be careful about non-waters in the deck, especially since it’s one of my main starters. I can totally see it being AWESOME in different types of penguin decks though!

Bro NGL, I got an anime tattoo on my wrist, I wear 2 silver rings one on my middle finger on my left hand one of my ring finger on the right and I've been rocking the penguin deck for years. I think you're me from an alternate universe. Hammer shark works quite well too, you can ss polar penguin, get a bounce then immediately synchro summon brave afterwards and get penguin soldier on the field face down, say they only have 1 monster and say you use foolish burial to get nopenguin in the grave you can pair him up with brave and do 4000 DMG in 1 turn with a scary double ban if they activate a monster eff the next turn. Surface also works incredibly well too with Polar penguins ss eff

You misunderstood Nopenguin the first time you explained it, got it right the second time. CL1 Brave, CL2 Nopenguin. Still the same outcome to banish the bounced monsters, but the order matters.
Ah I see you’re right I totally missed the fact that Nopenguin HAS to respond to the first penguin eff that turn. Good catch!

I'm in need of help building my master Duel penguin deck. Any recommendations? I heard I could run Icejades, but what cards would I add (Very new player btw and a card list would help a ton)?
Hello! I don’t like running icejades other than tremora but I’ve seen others have success with Aegerine too. The most important thing is 3 penguin garden, 3 squire, and 3 emperor, as those are your strongest cards in penguin.

Spells and trap card wise, do you recommend anything or just however my playstyle is?
Gozen Match is CRAZY with stealth kragen. But otherwise whatever your play style is / whatever counters your locals scene!

so pissed that toad is banned in masterduel when the hit was obviously either swap frog or ronin. This would be so much in cooler in md with toad
Completely agree. I'm clinging on to Toadally Awesome in the TCG for dear life. I legitimately might cry if they ban it here hahaha

I mean toad was clearly the problem not ronin.
Toad is a negate any deck that can summon 2 level 4 waters has access to
Spright, also has spright elf which made it easy enough to make toad even if you didn't get access to ronin any any frog became toad even if ronin was banned.
Like yes it sucks rogue decks lose it but tear and spright could abuse toad why leave it in the format
Elf is banned in tcg and ocg, Toad requires 2 Aquas not 2 WATERS. #ReloadTheToad
