Robby not winning a tournament as an individual and becoming a champion isn’t the worst thing to happen
Robby himself has shown that not winning high stakes tournament matches doesn’t bother him and has been great at accepting loss
Him not letting the fact that he never became a champion is a great way to show that he won’t go down the same path his father did in letting the things that happened in the past, continue to scar him and cloud his judgment as an adult
I feel you bro. But he deserves a victory but he might be the one fighting for his or someone's life like Daniel in.kk2 .

I think the biggest problem will definitely be the lack of young villains in season 6 for Miguel, Robby, Sam, and Hawk to face. Tory is good now, Kenny is turning good. There’s literally no threats or story or drama for the teen cast, which has been a strength of the show in previous seasons. But now they’re going to have to build up random and new villains who we have never meant before. How can we be into it for Miguel or Robby if the villain they face has no build up?

Robby definitely deserved to win season 4 tournament. Hawk didn’t need it. That was Robby’s season imo

Yes he needed it tf?🤣 he needed a redemption Arc after what happened to him Season 4 when they cut his hair how did he not need it you must’ve forgot Hawk never won a tournament either so it was only fair for him to have that Season.
Rule of drama. Miyagi-Do had to win BOTH finals in order to take top dojo, so pretty much Hawk was going to win (that and his S4 arc was redemption). They tried to soften it by having Robby hesitate when he realizes just how far Kenny has gone to the dark side.
I think the team captains will be decided in an inner-dojo tournament, especially if there is a good amount of overflow Cobra Kai members joining Miyagi-Fang in S6. It would be the only way to be fair about how they choose leaders. And Miguel and Tory would be the pairing that could cause the biggest amount of drama around the teens. I mean, they’re both exes who are dating each other’s exes. And it could lead to plenty of misunderstandings from Sam and Robby regarding Miguel and Tory having to work closely together that the series is famous for. As well as increase Sam’s rivalry with Tory in a more healthy way by having her beat Sam for leadership in her own father’s dojo. That’s my theory anyways.
I reckon there will be 2 captains, Miguel and hawk. Makes sense since they won the all valley
@@jamiefawkes6072 I wouldn’t be against that. But we got to remember, in 5x07, Silver and Kim stressed how they needed to make leaders out of one of the boys and one of the girls (Kenny & Tory). And I think it’s because the Sekai Taikai requires a leader from each of those genders.
@@karate-cobras9542 very good point, I reckon the boys captain will be decided instantly because I believe everyone looks at Miguel as number 1. However I think they’ll be a match between Tory and Sam to decide who becomes the captain
@@jamiefawkes6072 Definitely agree on Miguel being top choice for the boys. But seeing as of how in 5x08 Johnny told Miguel, Robby, and Hawk that he and Daniel were having trouble picking which one of them needed to fight for the qualifying match - I think Johnny, Daniel, and Chozen are going to hold an inner-dojo tournament for each gender to determine the team/dojo leaders. That way no one in the dojo can say there was any bias or swing votes. But I do think Miguel will win for the boys. As for the girls, I think Tory will beat Sam in their match and become the girls leader. I also think this will all happen mid-season. That way we get some episodes of all the kids (including the former Cobra Kai’s, that Hayden said would be joining in S6) training together before it.

I agree with you that Tory is the one who deserves to be the team captain the most. Of all the younger characters she is the one who has grown the most mentally in season five. We have also seen that she is a good mentor to Devon, we have seen her take responsibility for her family, she is a natural leader.
Robby deserves to win the Sekai Takai, Miguel won the All Valley in Season 1 and Hawk won the All Valley in Season 4 and he needed that win after everything he has been through, having to realize that his hair doesn’t define who he is and he needs to have confidence within himself and thanks to Moon kissing him, he got his confidence back, now Robby needs to win something because he has taking L after L but cmon man, he is Johnny’s son he needs to win something.
Also if he wins it'll pretty much complete his character arc and his win would honor both his Sensei and his father as well as redeem everything he's done throughout the show

@gjjijji that's true but in all honesty I think his character arc would come down to a better conclusion if he were the one to win or at least be the last remaining fighter to compete but put up a pretty good fight and then lose
@@salvadorlucero1034 it’s too cutesy if you make everyone gets win. At that point the trophy feels arbitrary, if literally everyone get one. “Miguel gets a trophy, Hawk, and Tory cool but who’s left now let’s get Robby and Sam one” that would be so whack

I think the students in Kim Da Eun’s dojo will be the new Cobra Kai alongside with John Kreese
Robby going along with it would be the biggest problem. He is the one who lead Cobra Kai back in season 4 if it hadnt been for him Cobra Kai would never learn MD style of Karate and get the upperhand on EF and MD, he's also the only one out of the teens who have an experience mentoring someone younger.
The fact that you pointed out that Hawk didn't proved himself in season 5 but not pointing out that Robby proved he can take someone under his wing and the one who lead Cobra Kai in season 4. He deserves to be the Team Captain after being robbed off 2 All Valley tournaments just for someone else to be hailed and get the glory.
And don't even get me started on Kenny, if anything, Robby didn't fail that kid. But if Robby can mend his relationship with Kenny in S6 will determine if he is worthy of leading the others in Sekai Taikai.

@@gjjijji ever heard of a plot device, in season 1 injured arm in season 4 distracted by kenny, lets see what the writers come up in season 6 for Robby to not win a fight.
@@efraeimberena2532 in S1 Miguel would of beaten him anyways and S4 being focused is part of your skill level especially since he core karate is miyagi do. Daniel was injured in KK1 and he still won.

I hope it's gonna be a 5vs5 team fight like in the sidekicks movie. Maybe the adults are fighting as well and that's why Zabka is training so hard. He could be the captain. Otherwise I want Robby to be the captain because he is a leader and he needs his win finally 😊

I like how you think, WatchPartéeee! You’re absolutely right; The Sekai Taikai can’t just be a grander version of the All Valley. It definitely needs to be a bigger team-effort, & I absolutely think Miguel will be team-leader. I also think that Miguel should appoint Robby for some big match at the end (Robby does deserve a major win)

I write off Tory, because I feel that while she will start off by joining the,..... (uhhhh),.... "Miyagi-Fangs",.... I feel that once Kreese takes back ownership of Cobra Kai, she will defect back again, because she was always cool with Kreese, not necessarily with Cobra Kai. I also feel that Kreese will name her Captain, even though it won't be like it was before, because she used to be fuelled by anger, but not anymore. So now, she will represent Cobra Kai, but with honour and mercy....

WATCHPARTY: This was another awesome video. Yeah the Seiki Teiki is definitely going to be way different than the all-valley. As much as I would love for Sam & Robby to be team captains, I think it should be Miguel & Tory. Miguel at this point is past a tournament win and if they have an inner tournament that helps determine who the team captains should be that gives Tory the chance to fight & win fairly as well as on her own terms. The Seiki Teiki itself in the finals should be the moment where Sam & Robby really shine ✨(how is anyone’s guess at this point), & as much as I am hoping for Sam & Robby to win the Seiki Teiki for Miyagi Do, I am rooting that this theory that you comes true because I know better than doubt you when it comes to this sort of thing (& honestly I’m sick of these Sam or Tory or Miguel or Robby divides) , just as long as when it gets down to it that it’s because of Sam & Robby (or Tory & MIguel), but this way everyone gets gets their arcs closed and the wins they deserve. What do you think?
