@@Tcottong ironically here she did the second one as an open vowel and it was flawless. I think somewhere during the 00s she started becoming way more comfortable doing open vowels vs closed ones and modified a lot of the closed vowels to open ones… granted she could’ve raised the key but just lipped that last part, but that would sort of take the magic away imo.
@@adamsamess2163 yep! The bylm sustained note is a good example of the vowel changing over the years. All in all, since 2015, she has trended on adding songs in the show to be live. Im glad she dropped fomo and lying down instead of just lipping them like she did 4 of the songs from taking chances...Really the only new tracks have been falling into you, le ballet (both barely performed in the grand scheme), abm ending, and show must go on ending..also covers are generally always live now where as before she was adding new songs, rare songs, and covers that would be lipped and it was extremely annoying.
This is just so nice and soothing... but I hope she could raise the key in future when her voice is really on top shape. And to add the ending of "I change my mind.... iiiiii change myyyyyy minddddd uuuuuuuuuu" like she used to do before..
She pronounced the high note in the second "EVERYTHING". she usually pronouce it "IVRITHING" but here, she pronounced how it was supposed to pronounce... and I love it

@@sharpiie9087 In 2020 they were generally stronger, but this and Columbus were maybe best for the Eb5s. Not sure if you saw the complete performance from Detroit, but for the “ask me to and I’ll do anything” D5, it and one of the dates from North Carolina were best.
