They aren't found in lots of homes around the country. Now-a-days homes are built and upgraded with Central Heat and Air.
+ohheychristinax Its not common in houses anymore. Most places are modernized to central air with vents.
In Russia my parents used to have this one for 23 years )

I'm so glad that your family finally got to meet Finn! I moved overseas in 2012 and left all my family and friends behind. It is very hard. When I had my son last year it was really hard not having my mum there. She didn't get to meet him until he was almost 1! It's very hard. Enjoy your visit with your family Bryan!

My apartment building was built in the 1920's, so seeing Bryan not know what radiators were was so funny! They get very hot, so be careful!

+Shadded Angel Here in Colorado, we have a ton of houses with exposed radiators! They're obviously in older homes, but now builders are installing them in new homes, so they have the charm and history in them!

Has finn got his first shots yet? man you are brave to take him on an airplane... i think i stayed in my house for the first 3 months of my sons life hahaha
I'm sure Missy and Bryan made sure that it was safe for Finn to go on the plane or else they wouldn't be going. They are great parents so I doubt it that they would be leaving the state if Finn wasn't healthy enough to go.

+BabySteps Is your son your first child? I did the same with my first child, but then after my second, we went out and about a week after she was born. Drs say it's better to expose babies to the outside world as soon as possible and the fresh air is really good for them. If you're a family that travels a lot, it's a very good idea to introduce an airplane to your baby in the earlier months! It gets them used to the altitude changes, their ears popping, and as they get older, they know exactly what to expect!
I'm sure Missy ensured her kiddos had everything they needed before flying to another state! Missy and Bryan do a good amount of traveling and are pretty experienced with having a child on an airplane!
Wasnt trying to hate or anything! i know they are amazing parents and only do the best for their children, no need to get down my throat about it! Didnt intend for it to come off in a rude way whatsoever. Im just a worry wart hahaha.. Theres a lot of anti-vaccine people in my town so it scared me to take my baby out because i didnt want him to get croup or measles. And yes, he was my first born!
+BabySteps I wasn't insinuating you were hating or being rude! I just asked if it was your first child! I know with my first child I was always worried about every little thing! I'd wake up in the middle of the night to make sure he was still breathing, I'd check on him when taking naps 20 times, and was so worried about germs and taking him outside! I didn't leave my house or get out of my pajamas for MONTHS! Lol
Then, I was just letting you know that the worrying goes away when you have your second and that Drs I recommend taking babies outside early in their life! So, not hating by me! :)
I live 45 mins from Boise. Whenever you guys are in Idaho I always miss it. To bad I won't be in Boise this week.I hope you guys have a fun trip. It's freezing. I hope you guys enjoy our weather. And that Ollie likes the snow if Idaho really has any.
