It’s so nice to find materials that work with you, rather than those you have to fight against. It really does make a difference in how much fun it is to make art. Your video could not have come at a better time: I’m actually looking for a good practice paper now - I’ve been using student-grade canvases for my practice pieces, but they take up a lot of storage space. And for whatever reason, I’m not a fan of doing more involved studies for larger finished works in my sketchbooks, so that’s not an option. (I do quick thumbnail sketches and color swatches in my sketchbooks, but that’s pretty much it.) So I will give the paper you recommended a shot and see how it works out. Thank you so much for sharing your preference for practice paper. Fingers crossed I will love it as much as you do!

Just a tip: use a heat gun or blow dryer to dry between layers if you want the paper to remain completely flat.
