Instead of using the B-7000 adhesive, can I use a muli-purpose silicone adhesive like the automotive type .

how long do you heat it up for, my adhesive wont stick (properly) for more than 3 days after we repaired it (full screen replacement), and the second time we tried to replace the adhesive (because the screen keeps trying to fall off) it would only stay on properly for 30 mins. also, how warm should the phone be (or not be), noticed you were testing the temperature of the phone as you heated it up

Hi, did you find a solution for this? I’ve got two S5’s to repair and both screens are falling off after trying to adhere the screens to the phone with the seal. It just doesn’t want to stay on there.
