Can you use this guide when doing a tread or bike boot camp? When you move from bike or tread to floor for strength workouts.
Unfortunately not currently
So the guide also becomes a “hub”? When you plug it into the tv you’re accessing peloton app through the guide or do you still use your Apple TV/chrome cast/etc. and just plug it in to the tv as a peripheral?
So the guide is just a stand-alone device that runs the peloton app only, you can do all the same workouts you would on the app like yoga and cardio it’s just the tracking features won’t work, you can cast ti this device so need to use the remote to access the workout you want.
@@bytesizeclu got it, so if I get that device I can no longer use my Apple TV to run the peloton app because the device would do it for me
What size tv is that? I don’t own a tv but I intend to buy one especially for Peloton Guide.
This is a 55 inch display, plenty big enough for the guide and you can change and size if your camera view and instructor view if need be too!
Did u replace your VAHA mirror with the peloton guide?
I did yes! I found the Vaha mirror to simply take up too much space and at the time it didn’t have the tracking or form correction It does now
@@bytesizeclu yes I did the same because I had the peloton anyway so made more sense to in their ecosystem. Although the VAHA was very good too.
Great review, such a shame that you can’t add the device to your Bike + screen. That’s a deal breaker for me!
