I'm a Liverpool supporter but when watching this that night, I had to take my hat off to them! What a performance really, and Utd hadn't won anything major in Europe for donkeys years, Juve were European champions only 3 yrs before and finalists 2 yrs previously, Zidane, Deschamps, Davids, it was real david and goliath stuff, as a Liverpool fan I can relate to the emotions most Utd fans must have been going through that night lol
From a United fan, both United and Liverpool have similar winning mentality when it comes to Europe. Twenty years from our glorious season, you guys have your moment of glory against Barcelona when after u lost the first leg at the Nou Camp 3-0, it seems there’s no to save this tie but your second string players saved the whole tie winning 4-0 at Anfield. And you are up against the GOAT Lionel Messi.
And in turn I watched your courageous team on that night in 2005. Another beautiful, inspiring comeback
Two things which were for me good enough,
I never knew that inzaghi played for juventus,
He was marvelous

Also didn’t know Ancelotti managed Juventus
Yeah,he didn’t got along with Del Piero,
they bought Trezeguet and sold him to Milan.
