idk young k got his degree && he majored in business administration at a rlly good korean university. im sure jae could do it too, but a lot of idols who go to uni kind of get special treatment. iirc, young k tried really hard and was really noteworthy bc he focused on studying whilst writing music and practicing.

I get the feeling that Jae somewhat regrets coming to Korea.
I mean, I love him. I'm happy and grateful that I get to hear him sing and make music. But I'm getting the vibe that he would have been happier if he stayed in the US and lived a normal life -- a life that he dreamed for himself.

Jesus God i believe they do get good money as day6. Their albums are selling well for a band and they don’t really need those fancy clothing or dancers, topped with all if their songs copyrighted to themselves which should be good. Being in jyp means you’ll get stable income after a while. And I hope they learn how to invest those money on assets too.

OMG Jae's situation is so similar to mine I had no friends at primary school I was doing pretty well in intermediate school but we moved to another country and high school life was just so freaking hard for me but now in university I have these genuine friends that I'm so grateful for. So peeps don't give up just be yourself and the doors will slowly start to open one after another.

jae's experience is so reminiscent of my own middle and high school experience (right down to the allergies and blowing your nose during class lmao) and as an aspiring artist, it was amazing hearing both of your different experiences!

I do really feel what he said about college. I mean college is one of my best part in my life so

College also has its best moment during freshmen year then after you know basically everyone in the class you’d be like “Eww” especially after having one or two group projects
I remember my whole high school years being alone and damn it was the worse during the lunch break and those 25 minutes every single day was the worst years of my life. I don't know how I survived being alone, but I got me some 'friends' I think when I got into college and stuff and I'm changed now. But there are some pros and cons to this life cause back then when I was alone, I didn't care how others saw me as and I could do things on my own and so to say I was stronger mentally, but now I feel so helpless and always needing to depend on somebody and also the mental stress is eating me alive.

As someone who moved away from my home country to England, Jae in this absolutely inspired me . I feel teary eyed listening to this for some reason because quite frankly, I could also be called a "school reject" (lmao) and going through that is never easy at all. But with the way Jae is now, it inspires me to be better and feel as if i am capable . transitioning into different countries is never easy and goddamn i love jae for this

Yea I think most ppl feel this way. I play the whole "What if..." game damn near everyday, but doesn't matter, can't change the past, only the future. But on another note. i think the first year or 2 are the best anyways Jae. I screwed around so much my first year and a half and then I had to buckle down and focus and I hated school after that lol. So I think you got the best of the college years, don't regret having left early! I sometimes wish I left school and did music instead of engineering...but the grass is always greener on the other side 😉

Very random comment but I have sleep paralysis at least once a year. And it scares me every single time, and for the first time ever when I had my most recent one happen I prayed and I was able to fall back to sleep and not feel so scared. There’s power in prayer :)

I relate to Jae on having the best times of your life in college, i was also a reject in high school and I met some really good friends in college and also I got to have loads of experiences bc my parents weren’t around (I have very very very controlling parents and for them to let me study abroad was the greatest gift they’ve given me to spread my wings) but rn I’m on break bc my mental health declined and covid happened and I have to be back home and now I’m stuck in my toxic environment idk how to get out
