Getting rid of nuclear power was stupid.

No, it was great, what they are doing now is stupid.
Building nuclear in the first place was stupid. But hey you also don't care about the trash, or the fact Germany poisned it's water with radiocative trash.
      Childish.

Should have kept nuclear power, its downsides are so overblown everywhere.

Und wo soll der Atommüll dann gelagert werden? Wir haben noch nichtmal ein Zwischenlager, welches geeignet ist, geschweige denn ein Endlager.

@@vhdlx "recycle" and "reuse" brings the "wasted" radiating potential down from 90-somewhat to 80-somewhat percent and there is nothing as a geologically stable area for mor than 100000 years, ESPECIALLY not the areas where we have destabilized the ground by digging into it.
Additionally there is no material we know that would be suitable to safely store the waste in for even 1000 years.
The only responsible way to handle nuclear waste would be a kind of bunker that allows us to inspect and repair it like every 50 years at least.

Braunkohle von Rheinbraun. Da stehen die weltweit größten Bagger. And it is impossible, that a German citizen had never heard about it. There where so much news about this since the last 15 years.. And all the towns they had cleared for it. But this will closed in the next years. For my point of view it is a very bad video about this theme that is, in some parts, incorrect. For example 03:50 ore 03:57..

Energy prices have exploded because of the import ban on Russian gas, not because of the shutdown of the last nuclear power plants. Even in Germany's nuclear heyday, nuclear power only played a role in the lower single-digit percentage range. Apart from that, nuclear power is one of the most expensive sources of energy and would be completely unthinkable without heavy state subsidies.
We are not investing in the construction of coal-fired power plants. Germany and Denmark, for example, signed a cooperation agreement on July 1, 2023 for the construction of large offshore wind power capacities. On July 05, 2024, the Bundestag simplified the construction and operation of photovoltaic systems. (balcony power plants) I think you can see the direction.

Koln most famous for Odekolonas (pranc. Eau de Cologne) Eau in French water expensive aromatic perfume thinned with alcohol spirit. If you being Soviet/Russian discotheque you head starts become dizzying and immense headache starts, and you say fuck it I don't want dancing girls, or alcohol. Soviet/Russian discotheque smell's like gas station which can create even stronger headache.
