14 hour drive on a leaky water pump? Amazing! That's a testament to that great LS engine. Wise move keeping with the OEM thermostat, I heard the lower temp thermostats are not good for the engine. Those engines were designed to run a bit hotter for a reason.
On your mustang swapped 351w, what spark plugs are you running? And fuel pump? Are you running your stock fuel pump and just using a regulator? I have a 351w swapped mustang and msd 6al box ignition system but I’ve been battling a cuttout for a little minute now. Thanks.
I use NGK spark plugs and Holley blue pump. It’s a low pressure (14psi max) inline pump. Then regulate it down to 5psi for the carb. In regards to the cutout, when does it happen? High RPM?
