I have a an X-T3 and an X-T4. When it comes to photography the X-T3 is always the one I choose simply because it has a tilting screen.
Sorry, but I'll never understand why anyone would want to use anything more than a cell phone to record their face while their walking around and talking.
I'm a full-time photographer and recently bought this camera. After using one week I have sold my Canon gears and now I'm solely relying upon this camera for professional shoots. This is truly an exceptional camera. And if you compare this with xt4 the differences are pretty minor, even some say that xt3 is better than taking photos.

For stills, the XT-3 is an exceptional camera. And I just love how it looks, how it feels to use, and the sensor/lenses/IQ. I've bought and sold several cameras over this year, and the ones I have sold (Canon EOS RP, Sony RX-10 III, Nikon D500), I was hugely underwhelmed by how they looked, felt, sounded, and functioned (inc. always having to go into menus to change basic settings), vs the fuji.
I can't imagine wanting to move on from the XT-3 until something like an XT-5 comes along (and that only so long as it has strong IBIS, relatively improved autofocus, and a higher resolution sensor).
True words, Alseki. I have doubted to buy a canon body, but I'm afraid I'm going to miss the fuji colors! It will be a keeper for a loooong time

As someone that doesn't shoot video, and uses their camera in vertical orientation on a tripod 90% of the time, for me the X-T3 beats the X-T4 in every way. The articulating screen on the X-T4 simply doesn't work as it gets in the way of easily reaching my tripod head. IBIS is nice to have but that alone is not really a good enough reason for me to switch either. I really wish they would have stayed with a stills-centric design for the X-T4 and just kept the X-H's as their video-centric line.

Love my XT3. Both for stills and video, this camera is super capable. the colors you get from JUST the jpeg is out of this world. I admit that the 23mm f/1.4 is a bit soft but with this camera, you get some really dreamy images. For video, 4K60 in F-log.... enough said lol. It's durable and compact especially if you pair with any of the f/2 primes. I also shot an entire wedding day on about 1.25 batteries. However, I am ready to upgrade to full frame lol. The autofocus is years behind than what's out there now. I also find myself using DOF as a compositional element so it would be nice to have that "full frame" look. I also find myself shooting in darker conditions and the ISO performance of crop sensor is just mechanically limited compared to full frame. I want IBIS too and the XT4 have that but with the other things I stated above, I think I am ready to go somewhere else. I will probably not sell my XT3 though. Will be with me until those dials fall off. I have been looking at the R6 or the A74 but when I held them, the feeling is not the same. Might even go back to older DSLRs!

Full frame is highly overrated, if you need all that low light performance and razor thin DOF, go medium format

@@GertjanVanVooren Yes! I've use Canon 80D, Canon 1DXM2, Sony A6500, and Panasonic Lumix GH5. All have their own pros and cons, but I am stuck with the Fuji ecosystem haha 😁 I love Fuji
I ordered my X-T3 in 2020, got it 3 month later in 2021, and still use my X-T2 as my main camera. I use the X-T3 when I need somewhat better AF.

Wanted to purchase the XT4 because of IBIS. Found a good used deal on Craigslist on an XT3 with the kit lens so that is where I am. Love the camera. I take short video clips so that makes me creative when using the video feature. Mail boxes. Cars. Sides of buildings. All can be used to stabilize the camera and become my temporary tripod.
Don’t care about the better battery. Have a bunch of the regular batteries. Prefer the tilt vs. flip screen as I’m a photographer. I do miss the IBIS. It is like a heated seat in a car. Never wanted one until I tried it. I’m not willing to pay an additional $400 for IBIS. The XT4 will become cheaper over time and will pick up an used body in the next few years. Now if Fuji would only put IBIS into either or both the XPRO and X100 bodies.

how is it in high iso ? is it good ?
@@RamiJedd For video, I use 3200 ISO Max. together with a fast aperture, it's very good in low light! For pictures I can push it to 6400 ISO. Also good!
This is easy one of the best camera ever made. Wasn't aged a day because it was already way ahead in 2018. It has USB type C connection. etc. I highly recommend this camera. It doesn't have image stabilization but you can buy a gimbal that is better that XT-4 ibis

Thank you for this! I’ve just ordered an XT3 today and I’m excited to get going with it! I’ve been using the Ricoh GR III for a year or so which was a great step up from just using my phone, but I’m ready for a much more complex and versatile tool now, and I’m now convinced I’ve made a great choice :)

X-T3 will still be worth it even at 2025. Moved to X-Pro3 but sometime I still miss my X-T3!

Very good, I also use the same camera the XT3 from Fujifilm and it serves me very well.
I ended up buying an X-S10 to compliment my X-T3, I almost always grab the X-S10 because of the IBIS, flip screen and smaller form factor, the 240fps is fun too! - I only do video on the X-T3 on a tripod as it's far too shaky otherwise and since I mostly shoot free hand, it's only used in a studio these days or for photos.
Hey! I tried using the XT-3 too as a handheld camera, but I had to build it out as a 'camera rig' to add some weight, just to get rid of the micro jitters. Thanks for the comment!
Got my xt3 used from b&h with a 18-55 f 2.8 and I also bought a zoom used. Both are amazing! Now I have to go shoot! 😅

A few years ago i was also thinking of buying this camera. I got a Lumix GH5 instead because of the flip-out screen. If the XT-4 would have been released a bit earlier I would go with Fujifilm... As a video editor, I always loved working with footage from Fujifilm. The footage already looks great straight out of camera. Anyways, great video!

I'm new to the Fuji system and the X-T3. Marvelous system. I did have to send back the XF 23 1.4 after it failed on my third week of use. Not super impressed about that. Otherwise, impressed. I hope it can last with my gentle use.
I have the sigma 23 1.4 and it works quite good! I did not test out the fuji one yet. For what are you mainly using it? Cheers!
@@GertjanVanVooren I wanted a general purpose fast prime to start my system. I had used a 35mm prime on my 35mm bodies that I was partial to. No Fuji lens is too big as I was a Pentax 67 shooter for years! If the Fuji works out, I'll be selling the 6x7 and keeping the 4x5 for film work.
Have to laugh at the title. X-H1 and X-T1 on their way to my house now with the F2 primes.

Hello! Once every 2-4 months, regardless of the reasons, the camera settings are completely reset to the factory settings. Batteries are always charged - this is definitely not the reason. How to deal with it? annoying kapets as ... you have to re-start from scratch, starting from the choice of language, configure everything. And most importantly, backup settings on the computer can not be done either? HELP! 😮💨🙄🤕

did you formally study photography/videography? Just curious because you say you consider yourself an intermediate level. I have just purchased the X-T3 and also have the Fringer adapter for Canon glass! I am very impressed with the colours and picture quality --- immenseIy so, even. However, I am trying to learn and improve and am considering taking a program at a higher education institution in photography/videography. Anyhow, happy new year!
Hey! I did not go to school for photography / videography. I brought my camera everyday with me: to parties, to citytrips, family meetings,.. also going on shoots with more experienced shooters helped me out big time! I expanding your network is the most important thing to do. When it comes to learning new skills, try to contact a photographer/ videographer you look up to, and ask if you can assist them! Any of these older cameras will make stuning pictures for lotsof years. I still have my X-T2 and do not plan to buy a new cámera, unless there is a new X-T5 with higher megapixels (I make large posters).

@@GertjanVanVooren Yes, mostly 56x86 cm and 40 x 80 cm. Sometimes 60x120. Resolution is lowered from 300 to 200 and pixels enlarged a bit. I could also make posters with an older camera which was not APC, but still smaller sensor. Quality good.

I just ordered a X-T3 to ugprade from my X-T20 and to complement my Canon 80D for my pro work! I'm still gonna use my X-T20 as a ''beater'' camera body but I think the X-T3 will be way more efficient than my x-t20 in some situations

As i dont want a flip screen the XT4 is not an option .It was tempting for Ibis and a better batterie life but finally i bought a couple of spare batteries and the XF33 f1.4 and they match perfectly ! Perhaps an XT5 ?
If you don't mind the spare batteries, this is a great (and cheaper) solution!
XH2 will become the new flagship Fujifilm X

Definitely. I have not 'bonded' with the X-T4 at all. If I am shooting purely for pleasure I pick up my X-T3.

Try using higher quality SD cards with 300mbs , make sure boost mode is on and wait for the camera to process the information after shooting then only press review that might prevent you're fujfilm from going Into lockup.

Idk, I still using xt3, m not 'pro', or doing commercials, xt3 just doing fine, if I ever going to change, might go get used d810 or d850, but for sure not some new systems.
Never used the D810 or D850's! But they seem rock solid!
for videography and film which is worth? XS10 or Xt3 this are only my budget range tx4 are expensive. Please guide planning to buy but I dont know which one both are good cameras.
Depends if you really want 4K 60 FPS! If that's the case, you better go with the XT3. The XS10 only has 4K 30 fps. But in terms of image, they both has the same sensor and processor. Hope this helps you out

Raad je me aan om een tweede X-T3 te kopen, voor €1149, of een X-T4, voor ongeveer €2400 als je de accessoires meerekent (accu's, acculader, batterijgrip)? Ik ben tevreden over de beeldkwaliteit van de X-T3, maar heb soms behoefte aan iets nieuws (Classic Neg, IBIS, betere batterij, F-log View Assist nieuwe look). Wat zeg jij: goedkoop een nieuwe X-T3 aanschaffen en lekker stabilisatie blijven toevoegen in montage, of voor de veel duurdere X-T4 gaan en sneller een beter videoresultaat hebben?
De gerepareerde X-T3 zal daarna mijn tweede camera worden.

If you like the "color science" of the fujifilm jpegs, then you must not do much Raw files.
For professional work: RAW files. For personal use: jpegs.

Hey! I love to use my Sigma 24mm F1.4 lense for street photography. Also, the kitlense by fuji (18-55mm) is great. Really small and crisp lense. Hope that helps in making a choice!

I would pick the Sony A6000! that's what I started with ;) Orrr Fuji XT-2 is also a very good option!

Yes it is! Don't get me wrong. XT-3 footage is great! But comparing it to the zcam would be apples & oranges in my opinion!

once you choose a film look, can you change it back in post?
If you choose a film look in the camera, you can't turn it back. Best option is to shoot in F-log! From there, there are LUT's available to make it look like the film looks by fuji. Hope it helps!
@@GertjanVanVooren very good to know before. You really have to know the film look then before shooting a project. Which makes it bit less versatile. Ideally you choose a film look, which saves you time in post (yayy), but I would love the ability to change it to either another film look or back to "raw" (im a photographer) and grade it yourself

A X-T1 is still MORE then enough for a beginner. Camera's have gotten so advanced that for purely photography, you can't really go wrong anymore. Want to get into photography? Skip all the latest and "greatest" and go for a few generations older body. Dirt cheap and still incredibly capable.

This is really click bait..your stating the obvious. Digital camera technology has matured to the extent that any new models are simply incremental upgrades. Heck, my D700 from 2008 still works super , or take my XPro1 which I bought on 2012 ...ten years on I can hardly fault its still image quality

I was initially happy with my XT3, but now that I've used it in very intense situations, I feel it falls short. My XT2 handled the exact same situations far better. I have a lot less confidence in this camera.

stupid topic. Sure it is still worth to use in 2022. Everything should be used untill it breaks. The habit to always have the newest think, is killing our enviroment. I own a X-E2 which is still a great camera and costs used about 200 € and now a X-T2 will join (400€), which is also still a great camera.
