Probably one of the worst model designs I've seen for tiny house living. Which is shocking because we've had at least 15 years of examples to pull ideas from. The biggest problem is it's cramped spaces no matter how you look at it. They could have swapped the bathroom where the bedroom is opening up the kitchen area. Even keeping the size they chose allowing for more space for the kitchen & living room. They could have changed the couch to a foldout, pull out, or Murphy bed, again allowing more space. kitchen is rough, looks like the fridge door opens into the bedroom. there's so many different designs out there to fix this.
That’s a lot of money for what you get. A few downsides: an incomplete kitchen, a cramped bedroom where you have to squeeze in to close the door, no storage space, no washing machine, and the list goes on. Absolutely a NO from me.
I agree. For the price, your reasons and more I am just not impressed. He exaggerates things and that's annoying because it's just not true. The only way that makes a difference is if you actually want to have items right there when you walk in, OR if you want them to overlap the entrance which isn't advisable.
That's a poor metric. There are plenty of reasons for having a door swing in. If you live in a snowy area and you have a deck you still want to be able to open the door, for example...
