@StormySky48 the 9400, 9500 and 9800 have the same head and power, the only difference is the 9800 has lights and the 9400 and 9500 do not. The 9400 and 9500 are the exact same shaver, just different accessories
@@ShaverDude It doesn't get EVERYTHING, so I end up touching up with an Oster T-Finisher. Could be my poor circle technique, but it's more convenient than razor blade
I have a 7000 and a new prestige. Both are excellent and this surprised me because I didn't expect them to be as good. The Panasonic arc 5 in comparison is harsh. Both Philips shavers were purchased at a massive discount on their online store. It is hard to justify the retail price of the prestige but if you get the 100 day money back guarantee you have nothing to loose.
@@andipandi559 the s9000 is just the 9400 with lights. It used to be called the 9800 or 9500. The s9000 Prestige is a better shaver, but it costs more.
@@Anatolian_Tiger64 the S9000 gets closer than than a blade with the grain and I think, just as close as against the grain It is quite impressive. I didn't think an electric would get that close. Although, I have not done a head to head with the Mach3
@@Anatolian_Tiger64it may be the “lift and cut” system they use. It used to be even more aggressive but they had to dial It back due to causing too much irritation. There’s a proceeding blade that lifts the hair slightly then a blade behind it does the cut. The hair, then drops slightly below the pore on the skin thus giving a close shave.
hey did u ever shaved your head? I mean with those stuff? opposite of you, I shave my head (kinda bald by choice) and grow my beard but didnt use any machine like this if it works good or not dunno.
It would be nice if you made shaver battle with the Philips 9800 vs the 9000 Prestige
@@StormySky48 I will add this to the list, but I believe the 9400 and 9800 provide the same cut. They have the same head and power.
@ShaverDude Well it seems like many of them have the the same or similar head and power

I pulled the trigger on the S9000, just got it today. Cool video friend
How do you like the shaver so far?

@@alexwilliams4217 sometimes it takes a few shaves to get the proper technique for your face and hair. I really like my S9000.

Glad you like them both. I have been happy with my ARC 5, but the new Philips Norelco's are really good.
You can make the comparison between Panasonic Arc 6 and Philips s9000 prestige

How does the S9000 Prestige compare to a Mach3 in terms of shave closeness when the Mach3 is used with the grain?

Thanks. Do you agree with a statement that machine shaving makes the skin old?
I have never heard that before.
