If I read my Bible very well Jesus refused to be named King of this world, the Jews expected him to overthrow the Romans but he didn't do it coz his battle wasn't meant to be fought physically! This is futuristic. It is not connected to today. This is Ezekiel 38.
Only 3% of Israelites are Christians ie believe in Jesus Christ. Yahweh is preserving Israel for the main reason that it be fulfilled as it was written in Romans 10 that he shall cause them to turn back to Christ in the last days.
