I have a mini MPV and i like the idea of having the kitchen out the back and might well try something like this myself, if I do i will be sure to share with you a few pics , though I would expand a little for rainy days ... but all in all its very inspirational to see a person putting a simple idea together! Hello Hello Hello Barto A. I wouldn't bother too much about negative feedback. These people can buy expensive camper vans if they are afraid of getting damp feet when camping :-) Great little box. I've done something very similar. I drive an Opel Zafira 2003 which are very roomy for 2 people. I've taken the middle row of seats out and that still leaves me with 2 seats that fold neatly under the floor in the back for friends. I use an alcohol stove with 2 heaters so no gas. My next vehicle (in many years because the current one will be used until the very end) will be a liquid gas vehicle which are also very cheap second hand. Opel make Zafiras that work both on petrol and gas with no loss of space and they are very cheap second hand. ore importantly for me, they are very environmentally friendly. I have also made a tent to cover the back door if cooking under the rain and bought an ex-army camouflage net to cover the car when I'm camping in the wild. It avoids people walking up to ask why you are parked in the middle of nowhere. They usually think its a bird observatory. Happy camping and travels with your camperbox.
