This is a secure and very low profile technique for hanging floral installations. I recommend NO FLORAL FOAM, you want to keep it light.

Do the hooks at the end of each "Sputnik" come WITH the sputnik or are they separate?
How do you hang a chandelier from a wooden vertical sailcloth tent pole with the pole going through the center of the floral ring ?

I'd use a large wreath form - you can get them at craft stores.
