The Northwest has changed a lot in the last century, and the Bonneville Power Administration has evolved along with it. What began with a mission to electrify rural communities has grown into the cleanest power system in the nation thanks to carbon-free hydropower. Our ongoing modernization efforts enable us to find new efficiencies and revenue sources, and we pass those savings on to our customers.
