I have the 125 old version. I MUST have the 200cc new one in red and white. I’m 61 years old and still a kid😀😀😀😀😀
Looking good pal, turned out nice even with the rubbish weather we had. Keep the content coming!! 👍
What a lovely scooter! I love my mark1! It freakin flys with the malossi 172 kit! Love from Budapest!
wow beatiful looks so much better in the flesh more vids man of this :)
Very good video ! Giving good facts and even included your own opinion.
Found you on Reddit. Glad I did! I subbed. And as a owner of the old 180 Dragster. I really appreciate the dragster love!
Thanks buddy much appreciated and always happy to talk to a fellow Dragster owner 👌🏻
Never drooled over a scoot till now. Thanks for the overlay transition from old to new. Really shows the evolution direction. Hope it comes to the USA!
awesome little hot-rods!
Really enjoyed the video thumbs up! Loved the details and first chance to see more of the bike! I’ve got one on the way in the black and grey/red frame colour way! What do you feel the top end would be without any upgrades and fully run in? I know you stated you were pushing close to 65 on a engine still being run in with not full throttle. Cheers 👍🏻
Hey Gareth, glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for the comment. I think 65 will be about the limit on the 125 without tuning. Perhaps push it to 70 on a good day with a light rider.
Thank you for the reply 👍🏻 and I think I will have to add the Mallossi variator/clutch kit! I’ve been checking out the extras on italjets website will definitely add an exhaust soon!
Attach the bag to the bike by threading the string through the holes in the bike.
Or you could hook a net to the frame.
The bike looks like it has a surprisingly high carrying capacity.
Beautiful
Thanks for the video. Would it be possible to do some light touring with this bike?
I never wanted anything as bad (on two wheels) as this…. Hope it makes it to USA
Or I’ll need to find a way to export one no matter what it costs….
Owned original Formula 50 back in 90s
Was a true had turner back then ❤️
Great video! Is the engine tuned, or directly from Piaggio? Is it the same engine spec as in the Vespa GTS 125 for example?
Thanks 😁
Engine is a slightly improved version of the same engine found in the Aprilia Scarabeo
Happy New Year🏁i hope italjet will send me one, if you do please send me the Limited Edition 200
Holy shit it actually came out
Always knew it would, if it hadnt been for covid we would have had it last year
take the 180 engine out of the 2t and stick it in the new Drag ..id take that
informative, like your style but a little boost on your audio would be a bit better.
Thanks buddy, Im kind of an accidental UA-camr and learn as I go on, but do need to invest in some better audio equipment
@@PEACEPISTONS man it was very informative, learned a great deal about the dragster, just your voice sometimes softens. but all in all it was a great review.
Considering getting one, coming from a Yamaha R1 and mt09sp lol
It's pretty crazy I know loads of Dragster owners who have much bigger bikes but still love the Dragster. One guys got a garage full Ducati’s and MV’s and sitting next to them, a Dragster! One of the only scooters that can sit next to a Panigale and hold its own!
Nice hoodie! May i know where you bought it? Tnx!
I was given it at EICMA in Milan as uniform as I was working the stand with the Italjet team
If I bought the 125 how much would it cost and what parts to get it to do 70 mph
A performance variator kit, decat pipe and sports exhaust should see you hit 70/75mph quite easily on the 125
Cost depends on which parts you use and if you have to pay someone to fit it for you but as a very rough estimate around £500-£1000
is the engine an inhouse design or was it sourced from another manufacturer like piaggio?
Hi John, the new Dragster uses a Piaggio engine but with some improvements from its original design
Hi whats the difference between the limited edition black and the normal version?
The limited-edition comes in all colourways but is fully sold out now, it comes with a plaque designed by myself which is signed by Massimo Tartarini the president of Italjet and states the build number out of 499. The limited-edition also come with a backpack and cover
Could do with 14'' wheels like my Aerox 155. The music drowned your voice at times.
Lovely thing. We just don't have the weather for it here in the UK. Shame as scooter (and bike) up take with the youth would benefit them no end.
This was filmed only a week ago so you can still ride even in the winter in the UK 🥶 haha
You just can't compare these modern 4 strokes to our 180cc 2 strokes. They were unbelievable.
I’m sure you can in fact I just did and I own both the new and old version 😁
Doesnt top the original tbh. but its a good homage
Use to ride sports bike about 5 years ago ago decided to downgrade and buy this small beast instead due to its demand and I believe in few years time its gonna be a rare bike which means price will spike up
If only they would ship to USA.... I'd pay 2000usd for them to just ship it lol
Italjet is working on getting them to the USA and I believe it's a company called Genuine Scooters they are talking to about being the distributor in the US
Ducati & Lamborghini had a baby I burst out laughing 😂😂😂
Why’s that? Ducati and Lamborghini were direct influences on the design and if you look at the rear light it’s actually the same as the Ducati Panigale
The only thing I don’t like is the key 🔑
Your knee, the key is too long
And is too short from the seat to the handlebars
The key has 3 settings, completely folded in, half folded out and fully folded out. While riding you are supposed to have it in the half-folded-out setting so it doesn't hit your knee
Nice scooter, shame nowhere to put your helmet
The fact that it's marginally less powerful....is not acceptable considering it's price and it's hype. That couldn't go head to head with a stock 180cc Kymco KRV.
The Kymco 180 has less horse power and weighs more, plus you can’t really compare a Kymco to an Italjet that’s like comparing a BMW to a Kia
The one in the video is a 125 the 200 will do 80 mph and has 17.5bhp (20bhp with cat removed and sports exhaust fitted)
125cc 11kw 15hp!!
200cc 14.6kw 20hp!!
They were the pre Euro 5 figures, its dropped slightly to meet Euro 5 regs but the good news is the power is still there you just need to fit the decat pipe and exhaust to get it back
very nice and informative content. Keep it up bro!
Wow thanks for pinning my comment bro👍😉
