Is Egglestonworks using plastic for its cabins now? (I thought it was a granite-like composite, once). Anyway, great sound but I'd wish to know if I hear some "plastic quality" colourations or it's just my imagination. Tom Wu's gear is outstanding!
this is just my opinion, but its bugging me enough that i have to type it out. Why on earth, do these manufacturers keep doing these demos of what appear to be some fantastic speakers, with tracks that have a single instrument playing? Or they play the really simple type music that any speaker can make sound good? I know copyright is a pain in the ass, but they really need to find some free music they can use to show off what those things can REALLY do.Again, this is just my opinion, but I really think these guys are short selling themselves by playing less complex music like this. Its things like this that push people like me away from high end and into the DIY world.
It's not the manufacturer's choice, it's Peter's. I really appreciate the efforts involved in posting these videos but I agree with you 100%. It would be so much better to hear something more full-scale; after all one of the reasons to spend a lot of money on a big audio system is precisely because you want to experience some semblance of scale and gravitas. And surely it would also make sense to select a track that more listeners will be familiar with? I don't get it.
I go to the show in Los Angeles every year, and, while music like this can me heard from time to time, it is not the norm. Usually orchestral classical will be played (the hardest to reproduce), jazz and big band jazz, and rock. The reason you will hear this music on AV Show Reports videos, is due to copyright limitations. I always bring my own selection of music to shows, some of the most complex music around, (prog rock, contemporary jazz and contemporary classical), and I have no problems getting it played.
Those speakers are awesome
What a beautiful system. Sure seems like it sounded amazing.
INCREDIBLE system. Love those speakers!
Incredible. Lovely system.
Those Triangle Turnables at 57 seconds looks incredible.

Next time ask them to play "Symphony of destruction" by Megadeath.
The links in the description to the product and dealer pages are broken
Естественно!

Why do you listen to music without vocals?
