    Hey Art I love your videos and found you while looking for info on my BenQ sw321c. Im a bit confused and hoping you can help. I use a i1 display to calibrate my benq for my Mac. I was stuck between patellate master elements and iprofiler. I recently found a calibrate video showing how to use Iprofiler to create a profile to match my papers (I own a print shop). Im interested in setting the three buttons on my Benq puck for different papers. And one for standard. Is this possible? I don't know how to use iprofiler and assign the profiles to calibration slots of the benq. Also, when measuring ambient, The sensor should be outside of the monitor hood I assume? That gives me a drastically different luminance setting. Thanks!

    But it can’t profile Adobe Rgb! Very disappointing, and makes the Benq Sw272q not applicable for this software,.,!

    Great video. I am working with Davinci Resolve and I want to work with HDR video. Can you make a video about how to use a professional monitor that is not quite as expensive as a reference $35,000 for HDR video in Davinci Resolve?

    UI scaling can get screwed up with mismatched aspect ratios. Had to switch resolutions a couple times for the scaling to correct.

    Great video, Art. Do you recommend that this program is ready to do a color profiling on a 2023 MacBook Pro M2.

    Hi Art, I am now confused, because I thought that BenQ is using White Led backlight, whereas you said something opposite. I have PD2700u, PD2500q and sw271. Are these PDs using RGB Led then?

    I calibrated my monitor with I-1 Display pro and it is just too warm and yellow the D65. I am an hyper realistic painter so I can tell you the greyscale is just too yellow. How can I fix it? Its not that the monitor was too cold etc-It’s a fact that the grey is too warm

    Hi Art, very good tutorial. But, the difference from the previous version is that now you cannot choose whether it will be calibrated with sRGB, Adobe RGB 1998 or something else. Is it something that is now automated? Could there be any difference in the result? I see many people asking in the comments about this but no answers from your side. Hope you can help us? Sincerely

    So how do we know that the profile is loaded? I also don't see anywhere in the software to verify which profile is being used? Does the app need to run in the BG like the old X-rite app? These are huge misses from the documentation and are crucial things to know.

    • @Calibrite

      After you calibrate and profile with Calibrite or X-Rite software, the newly saved profile is set as the default in the Windows OS and the Windows OS is responsible for loading that default profile each time the computer restarts. The profile will be set as default at Control Panel > Color Management. Or you can go to calibrite PROFILER's home page > "Utilities" > "Profile Manager", select a Display Profile and Activate it (set as default) or Delete it.

    Looks like a paid 'upgrade' to use with the X-Rite devices. Why? It's essentially the exact same software, but with even less features?
    Supported Devices:
    ColorChecker Display
    ColorChecker Display Pro
    ColorChecker Display Plus
    X-Rite ColorMunki Display*
    X-Rite i1Display Studio*
    X-Rite i1Display Pro*
    X-Rite i1Display Pro Plus*
    * Upgrade required

    There is a bug in the software -
    1) I hv been calibrating my monitor using the CC Profiler setting my luminance value at 100. When calibrating with the new Calibrite Profiler and selecting 100 luminance, the new software hd read the current luminance at 88. I had to increase brightness to 100 which to me is too bright. I then re-checked the luminance value using the CC Profiler software which confirmed the luminance setting at 120 as opposed to Calibrite Profiler at 100. Why is there a difference luminance value read by the Calibrite Profiler?
    2) My Colorchecker Display Plus does not blink when using the Calibrite Profiler unlike the CC Profiler where the Display Plus would blink when using the CC Profiler - is this normal?
    3) Finally, the Calibrite Profiler software would hang after calibrating halfway and would not allow me to proceed with the calibration. Is this a bug?

    I’ve got a color munki photo device - should I redo my calibration with this now- are they compatible? I have a 2021 mac book pro and struggle trusting the results i am getting from before as it seems so warm compared to color LCD.

    good afternoon, I am interested in purchasing one of your products, to calibrate a Samsung Neo Qled 4k HDR10 television, but watching videos of people who are dedicated to calibrating screens, for this brand an additional supported pattern sources is needed, and that must also be profile or as I understood calibrate the same probe.

      For HDTV calibration, I’d recommend purchasing the Calibrite Display Plus and then use it with Calman Home that can be purchased at: store.portrait.com/consumer-software.html

    • @pawl_s
      @pawl_s Рік тому +5

      As far as I understand there is no difference. Only changed UI. In addition, if you have x-rite device, you have to pay for "upgrade" to be able to use calibrite profiler. I stay with i1profiler as long as I can.

    Where is the video with the info, what to turn off depending on the OS one is using. You should be more specific,
