this is incredible. truly. i have so many thoughts and nowhere to put them so i thought i'd write it here louis said "he was in love with my city and wanted to know everything he could about it" and then lestat looked at him with such longing because to lestat, louis IS new orleans so him wanting to know everything he could about the city meant him wanting to know everything he could about louis. even the parts of himself that louis wants to hide or ignore. then lestat saying "it's my home. i am she, she is me" for why he didn't ever leave new orleans and telling antoinette "there's no place for me other than new orleans" is like him saying "there is no other love for me than louis." and this is so interesting to me because it parallels claudia and madeleine's relationship. during the trial, madeleine said "my coven is claudia"
I just need to let you know that this song and Spanish Sahara are BOTH what I listened to prior to season 2 coming out that I felt were very fitting to the story in it. So thank you so much for editing the show to them!
