You're a God send Walter !! My primary instrument is trumpet, but I taught self to play all of the saxes except baritone. I'm 62 years old. I started in Jr. High. I wanted to learn sax because of Maceo with the James Brown review, but the only instrument available was a trumpet. My music instructor was a trumpet player and when he played it, I fell in love with the trumpet. About three years ago, I finally figured out that I could play sax because of my limited musical training. I have studied Kirk Whalum because I love his resonant , smooth silky sound and technique. No disrespect to Kirk, but he's riding shotgun. Of all the talented sax performers, I narrowed my inflluences sown to you, Kirk, and Gerald Albright. Since joining your classes, I have learned more in 2 days than I"ve learned from all of the other instructional videos I studied. I'm a striving perfectionist and have been able to learn some of your songs including your solos to the last note. It's been diligent work, but an enjoyable work. I'm sorry for the long comment, but God is gonna bless you for spreading your musical genuis. Bless you !! J Ham
+Walter Beasley You're fantastic.... I have legally purchased all of your albums, sometimes it's nice to be able to play it for someone on demand if I've forgotten to load it mp3 on my phone.... But I understand... My dad is a composer, people think just because you're making music that money is flowing in... It's very hard work, requiring new equipment all of the time that isn't cheap... Hope to see you live someday.
