Back in the early nineteen fifties I used to watch Pipers and Cessnas land on our local beach (California's Monterey Bay area) when the tide was low enough. I even drove on our beach with my old Ford. I'd always let a lot of air out of the tires in order to be able to cross the softer dry sand. I never saw any planes bigger than a Cessna or Piper on the beach.
Tolles Video, und ich freue mich auf die nächste Folge. Frage: wer kann mir die ganze Zahlenfolge ab 0:12 interpretieren ? Danke !!!!! Great video and I'm looking forward to the next episode. Question: who can interpret the whole sequence of numbers from 0:12 ? Thank you !!!!!
I got into the cockpit of this exact aircraft in Roskilde airshow 2019 in Danmark. I asked where the engine control panel was and the pilot said “There is no engine start panel”😂😂
I THOUGHT SO! SOON AS HE TOUCHED THE BEACH I COULD SEE THE MARKERS!! All you need is one submerged ship wreck or object usually made of metal and it's Asta La Vista Baby!! . I was INTRODUCED to a particular beach where a 20 tonne massive tree had beached. If this C160 had landed blind which sometimes aircraft have to in an emergency, it would have written that C160 and Crew off in one go! That beach also had an Unusually High Concentration of Ship Wrecks!!
fun to see Germans use a Danish beach for landing

With German "Gemütlichkeit"😂
Cool! Pretty rare, though, to only have one camera in the cockpit, isn’t it? Thanks for bringing us aboard!
One? MUAHUAHUAHUA!!! 20!
Thanks for the video what a great plane I was wondering why they land on beaches
Good question!
Q. why did they transfer control immediately following touchdown? Cheers.

Let's see if Germany will buy some C-130J's, because I read that they are not really happy with their A400's..
