Your videos are amazing. What type of camera do you use? I would love to be able to capture some video of my family in this way. Thanks in advance for your response.
Thank you :D Didnt expect such a massive gear 5 luffy to be floating up there, made sure to capture some good angles in the full length version because it was so cool looking :D Saved you alot of money to lol, the parking alone was $80 USD for the day XD
Looks good quality on the meta 3 , but might be worth reminding people to check youtube vid streaming at 2160 , I got caught out as first time auto setting was lower , cheers
I will remember to put that in the description next time! Wish auto would just max it at 4k (2160) but guess it doesn’t always work. Have you ever seen 8k 3D quality VR180 on your Quest 3? It is actually 4x sharper than the 4k(2160) that UA-cam limits it to. If you haven’t, youre in for a shock at how big of a jump 8k (4096) looks visually. 4k is about 1 million pixels at 2160, while the 8k version delivers 4 million pixels at 4096 with direct download.
@SliceoflifeVR thanks for your response. the short answer is no . I checked out vr videos as soon as I got meta 3 , but there was initially a software limit on vr youtube . I think they sorted that quickly , but this is the first time I've looked again . But it would have been so easy to dismiss your video as blurred and unimpressive due to my error ( or youtube depending on your point of view ) . The 2160 was so much better , so I can easily believe another step up would be awesome
Can anyone explain why my Quest 2 won't play 8k quality videos? It doesn't really work for 4k either. 4k video studders badly and sometimes freezes (then the things go by super fast to catch up). 8k is a slide show.2k is all it can handle. Here's what I'm doing. I'm ripping the videos from UA-cam and loading directly into the Quest2 DCIM folder and using Skybox to play it. It took me weeks just to even get that far. The Quest 2 is janky as hell. First you have to sign up for a developer account, then you have to turn developer settings, then you have to find where to shut off Questlink that will automatically throw you into that. Then you have to go to the PC and start the Quest with the plug out, then plug it in, then put the headset on and allow connection. THEN you have to figure how to load videos and play into Skybox. I would LOVE to pay for this guy's videos, but the headset has been fighting every step of the way.
I’d be happy to help :) Quest 2 can play 8k 3D smoothly, but you need to direct download off my patreon for it to work. I have many members that use Quest 2 to watch in full length 8k 3D. Ripping a video off UA-cam doesn’t work because I use different encoding settings for UA-cam. Fortunately it is much more streamlined when you use the patreon. Once you download a video, transfer the video into the headsets “movie” folder. You can then disconnect and it will appear in Meta TV app “Your media” or skybox Vr app. You could also stream directly from Pc after download using skybox Vr and VD, but this is a little more involved to setup.
What Camera did you use ? Cause there is distorsion everywhere .. I do not have such a thing with my R5C and I don't see distorsion made by youtube compression on my VR uplaod... So seem to be the camera you actualy are using.
@@SliceoflifeVR Ok.. I see some others VR movie yesterday.. And I confirm.. It's youtube compression witch destroy our work. xD It's not only the low resolution, and the bad compression. it's also twisting the foutage.
This looks great on my computer and like crap on my meta quest 3 lol. Seems like it's getting super compressed on the UA-cam VR app on there... what am I missing?
Quest 2 and Quest 3 require 8k resolution to not look like crap. VR180 video spreads the pixels out over 180 degree FOV, so even though the panels are about 2k x 2k per eye, you only get about 1k x 1k per eye when viewing a 4k 3D video. UA-cam VR limits all 3D VR180 videos to 4k Max (2160p) so it will be blurry. This is why I offer the 8k 3D 60fps VR180 resolution direct download of the full length 1.5 hour experience on my patreon. It is fully playable in standalone mode in native 8k on Quest 2 / Quest 3 when direct downloaded.
What was your favorite Cosplay you saw at the con in this experience? :D This is only 4k 3D on UA-cam VR, you require 8k for it to be much much less blurry on Quest 2 2 Quest 3. The full length 1 hour 36 minute long 400% sharper 8k 3D 60fps VR180 experience + 24 other videos can be found right now! All for less than than fifty cents at www.patreon.com/sliceoflifevr . For less than a dollar per video, you can experience the world with access to every video on the channel! 8k video is 100% playable on stand-alone Meta Quest 2/Pico 4 (No PC required) or through virtual desktop via PCVR on other VR headsets. It is 400% higher quality than UA-cam and looks photorealistic when viewed on a Meta Quest 2 or similiar headset in 8k 3D. 8k = 34 million pixels 4k = 8.3 million pixels (Max UA-cam Resolution) 8k video is required to realize the full sharpness and next gen potential of virtual reality systems such as the Quest 2/Pro / Pico 4
I can watch 8K VR180 your videos in UA-cam VR with my Quest 3. Thank you , wonderful, so I know youtube is ready for 16K, .... maybe tomorrow. So you should prepare for 16k VR camera now. I love to see beauty girls on the street... they are so elf. We will support on patreon as we can.
I will be the first person in line to buy a 16k 3D camera when it is finally made :D But actually, did you know that what you see on UA-cam VR is limited to only (2160P) 4k 3D? You can already get much much better sharpness and immersion if you direct download it in native 8k 3D off the patreon :D Quest 2 and Quest 3 need 8k 3D VR180 to look shockingly better than UA-cam streaming. Thanks for looking into my patreon to show your support :) I am a just a small creator, a one man army doing all the work by myself and putting in thousands of dollars a month to create these experiences. So none of this would even be possible if it weren’t for the support of my valuable patreon members.
The Patrron Version is wayyyy better, specially on my quest 3. Thanks alot! You saved me 180 dollars getting a resale ticket!

Thankfully there is 0 distortion on the 400% higher quality than UA-cam VR full length native 8k 3D 180 direct download versions from the Patreon :)
