I'm still confused about the video. If I understand what you said, including comments ... the mark on the map is the last GPS coordinates the phone was when it disconnected. So if you set your keys down and walked away, it would be where you were when it went out of range. Like, 75 feet away or so? And going back to that spot won't matter, because if you use the app to make noise, the tag had already automatically shut off? To make it beep, you'd have to find it, to turn it back on?

Is it possible connect again to tracker and turn on tracker beeping, if firstable its lost and out of connection range, and I am walking into this connection range?
So how do you track your kid if he is out of range. He is not going to sit in one spot like the keys for example.
So is the unit always on or do you need to turn it on before you lose your keys.
You can't read it because you need to move in a certain way for a longer time. On foot it can't track you turning and turning around like crazy lol. Cars aren't behaving like that either but even on a moped you need to move for a longer time until the arrow stabilizes where you are heading.
I bought one but mine is a triangle shape and I got the app and I cannot get it to work well it works I just don't know what to do I don't have directions can someone please help me or send me a link where to get help because UA-cam really hasn't helped and in this video what is the exact name of the one you got here? Someone please help me out
Is the problem u had not because the tracker was carried away to be hid after it was disconnected from your phone so it recorded the location from where you left each other. ???

Wouldn't it record the mobile phone's GPS position at the time it disconnects? Unless you're suggesting that a $1 device has GPS functionality...
+ausrig That is correct. It wasn't explained in the video but Ant took the phone with him when he hid the tracker.
so it won't reconnect when the phone is back in range again like so you can activate it and make it beep when you get close to the location where it disconnected
excellent question, one that makes all the difference. The tracker was more than 75 feet out of range too, so a pin dropped at the last place it was connected, but if it can reconnect when in range and make a noise, that makes all the difference, and a seriously handy 1$ locator.
Should have e watched this first. I just ordered 3.

Its cheap enough to trail it on ur own and it works if u read the directions because it has an alarm that can be set off

It's 1$ because they pay no taxes! amazon and ebay do not block them or report them. Tax offices are not bothered in chasing them either. Basically anyone can sell any unsafe stuff and pay no tax on it and so it's soo cheap.
well ... th only thing this thing does is beep, when it's told to ... but IT HAS TO BE IN RANGE ... the coordinates ALL COME FROM THE PHONE ... the tracker does none of this stuff ... it just beeps if you're within 30 feet and tell it to beep ....

not worthless it is good to find your keys you can press the button in the app and make it beep the photo feature cold be good as a makeshift alarm system or catch a thief or an animal you could take one apart and make a trigger so it would snap a photo when someone opens a door or steps on something you could hide an old phone in one place and the tracker in another and aim the camera where you want
