I find myself camping out waiting for these pods on Sun. afternoon. Hands down the best hour of tv a fisherman can watch. Lovin it!! JJ is full of good info and I'm watching again incase I missed something. Marking in extreme low water is something I've done for years but not up there. What an advantage for him to take the time for that on Champlain. Tx
Another entertaining Weekly podcast with a true smallmouth expert. Love it.. what a great interview Dick Garlock would have been for you ......sadly Dick Garlock is gone now , we all really miss him. Dick not only knew the st-lawrence River and Ontario better than anybody that I know of but he was also a super person and would have been a great interview. Dick fished all over the country for years and fished in the Bassmasters Classic a few times in the 80s , his knowledge was incredible. Another local fisherman to the Clayton area that I fished with and against a lot since the 1980's is Dean Meckes. Dean has years of tournament success and he is also a very popular guide on the st. Lawrence River with a super track record. Dean would be a great interview for your podcast series.
Something with a real tight wiggle like a wiggle wart?! A wiggle wart has about the widest wiggle in the game, hence the name 'wiggle' wart lol am I missing something?
HAMMER!! Thx Travis

I remember when I came in second place with 21 pounds two miles from the ramp and Travis ran from Ticonderoga to Plattsburgh lol
Great advice , slow down and fish your strengths.
I think he was talking about a regular round bend off set hook, not a straight shank
