Coincidence doesn’t exist 😉 And what a lovely watch, great looking dial and at a seasonable price. It just goes to show that you don’t need to spend insane amounts of money to get a very nice looking watch.

This isn't a shot at anyone in particular, but thanks for discussing the specifications and talking about the design to me like a normal human being. I feel like many watch UA-camrs are too far up their own ass and it comes across negatively. Your video was informative without making me feel like a moron 😂 this watch is definitely on my shortlist for my second watch in the near future!
Thanks for the video on this, Britt. I’m pleased and a little relieved to hear what you have to say, having already bought a titanium version online, almost straightaway after learning about it. The Twelve does look superb and all things considered, the price point makes it a bit of a no brainer. Great content, as ever. 🙌👊🙏
I own three CW C60’s-600. CW is a secret many are unaware of. I find it to be one of the best quality -value watchmakers on the market and it has spots in the box with my nicest watches.

Very insightful, and comical, review on what’s looks to be such a great timepiece, especially at the price point! Sounding great and hope the healing process is at the tail end of the recovery.
Chris nailed it with this one in every possible way. I don’t consider 33x production cost outrageous but 3x is insane. Nebula is so fire for this watch & guardians of the galaxy. Peace!
I work in corporate finance. We price our product ~1.1x the cost of production (albeit a high revenue product). Anything over 2 or 3x is absolutely absurd.

This watch is a tremendous value. Does it draw inspiration from other sources? Of course it does. Does it also significantly improve upon many of those inspirations? Absolutely. I can’t wait to get one in purple. 💜
Why are some people upset about the power reserve?! It takes less than two minutes to wind it and to set time and date. Winding your watch is part of the hobby ffs 🤦♂️
@@LockheedMartinF22Raptor7 integrated bracelet watches are deceiving when it comes to that because the end links do not taper/hang directly down from the case. They effectively extend it. I think a few people have mentioned measuring to the end links at around 50.Xmm or so.
Christopher Ward seems to have a trend (guiding principle?) where to get the COSC movement you have to take something not to everyone's taste. On the Sealander and Dune you have to get the bronze version. With the twelve, you have to take the saturated fume clown colors on the dials of the titanium version instead of the steel that has tamer color choices.
I think that the conversation around "is this just a homage watch" is a bit ironic considering that besides the AP, Patek, the IWC and maaaaaybe the Octo (depending on which story is correct), anything else with an integrated bracelet look is going to be some form of "homage" watch, including most of the watches that the Twelve is currently being compared to! But i think that you nailed it: its art done correctly in a world absent of anything really new or novel, and from that perspective this is a gorgeous watch from where im sitting. Now, if only Ch.Ward can figure out a logo that actually fits their watches and adds to the overall design, I'd be over the moon. Maybe 5th time could be the charm?
Go Gringa, it's your birthday! We gon' party like it's your birthday! I hear these lyrics every time you post a new vid. Why? I don't know. But it feels right.
The 36mm version is said to be released in September, I’d shoot for the white dial but the Tissot prx 35mm with the powermatic 80 white/mop dial should be officially released in the next month or so…I’ve been between these two watches for a bit now as I want to keep my collection as small as possible lol, think I’ll end up with the prx though, cheaper and closer looking to my dream AP the 15450, solid vid Brit 🤝
I’ve heard this rumour too!! I would DIE for a 36mm. I think that’s what I’ll be holding out for. So many strong integrated bracelet offerings tho. Tissot is absolutely killing it with the PRX!
@MADLITS1K I just got my 35mm prx mop dial. Fucking awesome! Worth every penny...and more. I have other higher priced watches(only 2, lol) and this prx 35mm is no slouch!!
I think "Editing Brittney" stole the show of this video with its revelation of this watch's design. The best review video out there for the Twelve. Great job Watch Gringa.
New follower, I love your channel. I will be getting my Twelve Titanium this month. Thank you for the great images and review. Such an amazing timepiece.
I have one of these it is my weekend watch, I only have 4 watches, a low end citizen eco drive (but has a sapphire crystal), a seiko 5 series (2 years old) and a baume & mercier dress watch as well as the 12. The eco drive is reserved for using when doing the garden etc., the 5 for other week day use and the b&m for formal use. I LOVE the 12 - looks good but very sturdy and keeps good time!
I just think the XII is so much more interesting than the PRX. The finishing is on another level and it wears smaller than the PRX. I’d order the ti if only my wife didn’t recently ok my Bel Canto order. 😬 Great review as always. 👍
Glad its another option for folks looking for integrated bracelet watch options; but CW is one of those brands, like Oris, where in theory I should dig them - but no. Watch is nice, but reminds me of the Yema and Nivada offerings. For me, the Tissot PRX gives the same for a tad less, and Fredrique Constant High Life gets you something nicer for a bit more. Also, I own both of those, so, yeah, bias. 😂
Gringa Sunday 🔥🤩 Great video Britt 👌🏻 I think the 12 its a pretty cool watch, and as you said it in the video, it is a lot of watch for the money 👌🏻 We need more affordable watches in Gringa Land 😁 Have a great Sunday B.
FERNAAAANDO! I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to this! 💕💕 I am loving the Twelve! I just wish it was a bit smaller! 😅 but YES! I hear you! More affordable watches here in gringa land! 💕✨✨✨
Great review Britt, as much as hardline watch enthusiasts talk about this being a ripoff of the Czapek, it sure is getting CW more marketing traction. Really liked your call out about the “rip off” claims. CW is making some great pieces for the price point. Loving my Sealander.
A lovely modest review, very enjoyable, and informative. I have a 6” wrist, it looks great on your wrist, with a wider bracelet than the 36mm, definitely something I’d like to display at the end of a smart cuff?
Britt, you led to me to CW, and eventually purchased a C63 Sealander GMT based off your video. This time, I am not buying a twelve because of your video. I bought this astral blue version the day it came out, lol. I would love to see a burgundy dial!!!
I’m pretty sure they are releasing the 36mm version as well but not sure when exactly. When I saw this watch come out I knew I had to have it but seeing as my tiny 6.25” wrist can’t pull this one off on the bracelet I am waiting for the 36 version. Thanks for the video dear
Great video! Though this watch isn’t for me (GG is a one trick pony and the emperor has no clothes!), the details provided sheds a lot of light on the How and Why.
And I watched this video on June 12 (6/12). Coincidence? I don’t think so…. 😳😳😳 Love the watch btw and your review.. mines supposed to be sent out the 20th. (And the Bel Canto in December). Fingers crossed
This watch doesn´t do it for me but that doesn´t take away the effort from CW for trying. They are on a roll right now. And yeah, that ++ logo there is dangerously close to Tissot territory. Great video anyhow.
You know! You’re sooo right! CW IS on a roll right now! It really feels like they are going from strength to strength. But you know, you are right about that logo! Very close. But it must just be different enough ! 😅
The steel Arctic White dialed version is my favorite too. I just wish the steel versions had the option of the higher-grade, longer power-reserve (38 hours is a bit ridiculous nowadays) and thinner COSC certified movement. Then I think I’d actually get one. Because this has a fab design, and is the only ‘affordable’ IBSW type of timepiece that I do like. As I’m not particularly a fan of this genre of watch anyway. Even at the premium end of the market I only really like the Czapek (which I see this as an homage of) and the 2000-2011 RO Jumbo (ref. 15202ST.OO.0944ST.01 if you want to be nerdy about it 😁) with a silvery dial too!
A lovely piece, but they really need to make all the dials available in the titanium. A bit silly and poor form imo to force one to get loud dial colors to experience the upgraded material and movement.
Long time client of theirs, but grew out of the Sellitas in their watches. Good mvts for sure, but nothing differentiating, which can be an issue past a certain tier. To me their way up (if they want to break the 2k price tag on their higher end pieces) goes through modernising their s21 mvt so it fits a smaller offering. It has killer specs (Including power reserve), however will not fit most of their current offering.
Leaning toward the Arctic White, so I guess I am also boring. I want to add a white dial to my (very small) collection, and this is it. The shot of this watch on your husband’s 6.5” wrist is an angle not enough people show and it confirms to me that I would prefer this size to the 36. Thanks for the content.
Fantastic watch for the money! Have you checked out the revised Baume & Mercier Riviera with the Baumatic movement? Great finishing. Strong movement with excellent power reserve. Fourth oldest active Swiss watchmaker? B&M puts out some cool watches for the dollar with excellent finishing. The only negative for the buyer of a new B&M is that they have very poor resale. So buy it new and keep it or buy one that is a couple of years old and save a ton off of list.
Where can I try one of these on in the UK? I currently have a blue dial PRX powermatic 80 I’ve been daily wearing and am intrigued how similar/different they both wear and quality of finishing on the twelve. Fab vid Britt as always!
Not bigger than the PRX but still larger than a usual 40mm. On my wrist, the PRX is ridiculous! This one wasn’t ridiculous 😅 but still too big! I think if you did a lug to lug measurement including the end links that stick out, the CW would be a few mm’s smaller.
Side comment, I remember reading in A Blog to Watch(Read), for example if a mfg makes a watch costing $1,000 it retails for $5,000 adding in all the costs of distribution and retailers etc.
Great to see your humour shining through again! I do like a good chuckle! Where you speak of Mike France and the mark up models, I do feel that CW have veered away from their original model and ethic.. They once proudly spoke of their lack of links with sponsorship to keep the retail price realistic. That was a great selling point but is no longer the case. The watches have steadily increased in price over recent times too. Seems like there have been price increases twice in a short period. Still, I do love a lot of the CW line up. Some lovely pieces. My ASD/ocd is the only thing stopping me buying my first, it’s very frustrating! 😅 Hope your jaw is feeling better too! You’ve sure been through the mill recently! So what does Papi think of the Twelve? Did he like the look and feel of it?
I’m waiting for the CR Belcanto in purple, alredy pay. Anyway this is stunning for the price and it’s mor an everyday watch than the Belcanto.. well done 💪
I really want to own a CW watch, especially the Bel Canto. But I'm quite worried about having to send the watch back to UK for servicing. Everything coming in and out of Aus takes so long and the custom is soooooo strict!
Gives me a panic attack every time I look at the dial . Makes me feel like I've tunnel vision off the high dive and will come to minus my swim trunks with a crowd of people laughing at me . I want to like it .
@@BAF605 I see that, but I am wondering if the integrated bracelet sports watch has become its own style of watch. Dress, dive, pilot, Integrated bracelet. If it is more of style of watch than these aren’t necessarily homage.
£1600 for a titanium watch from a microbrand who seem to change their logo with the wind during their short time trading and who are known for their often abysmal customer service, and poor QA processes. Yes, that IS freaking amazing....freaking shocking to tell you the truth!! I wouldn't touch it (or them) with a barge pole.
Titanium....unobtanium........next lot shipping Nov 2023....pffff. Love the fumee dial on the Ti models, and the whole package with the SW300 at £1600GBP is a corking deal...if you can get one.....However, if aiming for Steel, just get the Tissot and save the £400..... Lovely vid Britt, and good to see you back on the horse....stool...whatever... :D
I bought mine at the NYC watch show in October. Loved the dial at first sight, but the bracelet is even better. It's on a 4-watch rotation, so stays in the wider for 3 weeks at a time. Gained 90 seconds over the past 3 weeks, so decent but not spectacular accuracy.
Britt, you did a nice job. I've been considering The Twelve Astral Blue but my main obstacle is the bracelet and you told me important things. It seems my wrists change size corresponding with the phases of the moon. I'd hate to spend two grand on a watch frequently needing adjustment. i don't like it as much with a strap..
Another great video. How is the lume on The Twelve? That's one thing I wish you would cover in your videos. You rarely talk about the lume. I'm a big fan of your channel and of Christopher Ward. I own a 36mm Sealander, and I love it.
I saw these at W&W in SF this year. I liked them a lot. I already have a 15450 and felt that if I picked this up, it probably wouldn't get much wrist time.
Coincidence that this video is TWELVE minutes long?! 🤫
Britt is a 12 out of 10 on the awesome scale 👍

Hmmmm... that's weird.
I totally want one in Glacier Blue. It just feels like summer to me. Even if the weather here in SoCal doesn't.
It’s a small thing, but the change in logo from the often awkwardly-positioned ‘Christopher Ward’ to this +:: is real step in the right direction
I soo agree! 👏🏻👏🏻

I'm a big fan of Christopher ward this will be my next watch from them good warranty and after sales as well 😎
You’re sooo right!!! Insane warranty! I should have included that!
The 3x vs 33x was said on watchfinder interview (the over an hour extended one) with CW mainly on the launch of the bel Canto
Ahhh that must be it!!! I watch and listen to a lot of Watchfinder! ^_^
The more I see this watch the more I like it !
Great work, Gringa!
Great Video. Would you perhaps also review the CW trident Pro 300?
What a killer timepiece
When The Twelve first came out, I hated the dial, but it looks amazing in this video... 😬
Integrated bracelets tends to wear big. Does this CW wears better than the PRX?
Not bigger than the PRX but still larger than a usual 40mm. On my wrist, the PRX is ridiculous! This one wasn’t ridiculous 😅 but still too big! I think if you did a lug to lug measurement including the end links that stick out, the CW would be a few mm’s smaller.
Side comment, I remember reading in A Blog to Watch(Read), for example if a mfg makes a watch costing $1,000 it retails for $5,000 adding in all the costs of distribution and retailers etc.
Editing Britney has a great sweater
She DOES! She just got that for her birthday!
Hope your jaw is feeling better too! You’ve sure been through the mill recently! So what does Papi think of the Twelve? Did he like the look and feel of it?
I’m waiting for the CR Belcanto in purple, alredy pay. Anyway this is stunning for the price and it’s mor an everyday watch than the Belcanto.. well done 💪
Britt, you are a gem!
Have you seen the Steinhart architect 39 mm with SW 300 elabore movement for $850 US? Review would be interesting …
@@BAF605 I see that, but I am wondering if the integrated bracelet sports watch has become its own style of watch. Dress, dive, pilot, Integrated bracelet. If it is more of style of watch than these aren’t necessarily homage.
@@BAF605 good question. I think it will grow where more have them not less. Could be wrong
“Freaking amazing price point!” Well said. I love this watch. Twelve words.
Now this is a meta comment! Now THIS is attention to detail.
@@BrittPearceWatches Ha. Touché. Twelve.
Rod Carr! All fair criticism here!
13. I don't have enough money for this watch haha
🤣💕💕
Britt, you did a nice job. I've been considering The Twelve Astral Blue but my main obstacle is the bracelet and you told me important things. It seems my wrists change size corresponding with the phases of the moon. I'd hate to spend two grand on a watch frequently needing adjustment. i don't like it as much with a strap..
Love it! Would die for a 36-38mm
There are rumours in the comments section.
Great video, coded or not! You will probably prefer the 36mm model when it comes out
Another great video.
