To answer your question Tae was in Mexico shooting the cooking variety show Jinny’s kitchen. Once Jin told him about the enlistment he adjusted his schedule and wrapped up the filming earlier and left ahead of the rest of the cast and travelled 24+ hours straight ( you heard in this ep how much effort it takes to fly to South America) to be there the next day for Jin’s enlistment. That’s how loyal he and the members are to each other. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Loui really is one of us now 😂 and I’m loving it!! The way he so effortlessly recognised it was J-Hope and then being surprised that he recognised him with just a look at the back of his head 😂😂 it’s all of us when we can recognise all the members by just their hands/hair/eyes/lips/nose etc 🤣🤣
My heart smiled when you immediately knew it was Hobi: "In this shit for life" for real! Jin's appearance on Lee Younji's drinking show "Nothing Much Prepared" is very sweet and funny. It was one of the first solo appearances he made, and as an introvert he found it quite taxing until they had had a few. Yoongi is very practical, very into design and last year during festa (?? I think so) we got to see him making all the members (kitchen) chopping boards in a woodworking session. Jimin made a bracelet, Namjoon went to Switzerland (probably the only man alive who could enthuse me about a chair museum), Tae drove us around with a banging playlist, Hobi took us behind the scenes of the "Arson" shoot, Jin cooked and Jk went camping. All show the members' personalities really endearingly and all worth watching. I think weverse lives take the place of BTS podcasts for now.
For context, jin HATES winter and cold in general so everyone was sad that he had to leave for the military in December cuz it's the lowest temperatures in sk at that time. It was so cute that they decided to release his episode during a warmer season despite having shot so early on 🥲
The gap between Jin and Yoongi's age (3 months) is relatively shorter than than that of Hobi and Namjoon (7 months) 😂 and also Loui, when you start recognizing the boys without looking at their faces it's a sign: you're a shareholder of the Magic Shop (like us) 😆😆😆💜💜💜
"I saw someone being freaking annoying out of the corner of my eye and thought it had to be Jungkook or J-Hope" lmaoooo Also hilarious that Jin was like "I'd choose Suga to be my roommate over Jungkook, cause Suga won't interfere or get in my way." Implying that being roomies with JK is hella annoying lol. And then Suga saying that even when he's 60 years old, JK will still be freaking annoying 😆 They really be dunking on the maknae in this one, but like in a fond loving way lmao
RM and Suga helped Jhope and taught him rap. And then the three rappers had this genius idea to make like a "School of Hiphop" for the whole group where every day they would gather and listen to multiple artists. Sometimes they would do this for like 6hrs. RM created a playlist of about fifty artists including Drake, Nas, The notorious B.I.G, Tupac, etc. To get the rest of the members familiar with the genre. You should try and read their autobiography that was released not too long ago.💜
just FYI. it's officially categorised and mentioned as biography - as it was written by Kang Myeongseok who was the oral historian and journalist who interviewed them, although BTS was quite involved sharing their opinions in the process n a lot of their quotes were included as is. hence it was marketed as "written by Kang Myeongseok and BTS". Note: The narrative parts were written from the author’s lens although he and the editor heavily consulted BTS and fact checked. But it's not considered an autobiography as autobiographies by definition are entirely self-written by the person the book is about. btw, the weverse magazine interview with the book’s author n chief editor Kang Myeongdeok just came out! there are more details about the writing process there
@@zehrabeyzade3370 Bro why can't you just accept that the other two rappers, Suga and RM helped him learn more about rap and hiphop in the dorms?? Obviously there's gonna be more people that helped him. Are you ok??? Did you specifically skipped the word "helped"??
Jin’s friendship with mr baek is hilarious and adorable! I’m so excited for his brewery and alcohol plans post-enlistment, I’d definitely buy some if it was available (Hoseok’s episode literally comes out tomorrow, very hyped 🎊)
My favourite parts of this episode: Yoongi: I saw something out of the corner of my eye, and I was instantly annoyed, so I knew it had to be one of my members Hoseok: you’ve gotten good at lying Jin: excuse you, I’ve always been good at lying Yoongi: I can remember what we talked about, but I know it was important Jin: so you took my advice then
-eternal roommates yoonjin ftw!! -yes Hobi learned from namgi how to rap -jinnie has a masters degree and went to one of the most prestigious universities -taetae was in Mexico filming Jinny’s Kitchen and went back early to send Jin off to the military -that was MAMA 2018 when they cried and mentioned disbandment -that song was Abyss by Jin -Hobi's episode of suchwita is coming tonight -pls watch the rest of the episodes of Jin's traditional alcohol journey -they bleep brand names like PlayStation or maple story -Jin also worked for Maple Story for like 2 episodes and there's also a series where the boys made character sets for the game -my universe was the collab with coldplay and there's a documentary about it -Ami please keep streaming, buying, voting for Seven!!! 🎉🎉🎉
leaving this here because i’m early: ✦ Pre-order and pre-save ‘Jack In The Box (Hope Edition)’ now !!!!!!!! The album will be released on AUG 18, 1PM KST !!!! Spread the word !!! 💕 ✦ Please stream and make sure to include ALL TRACKS of JITB, On The Street (to get it nominated and win award shows) and Just Dance (100M🔜) on your playlists! ✦ Reminder that hobi will also be on suchwita tomorrow (July 19, 10PM KST) 🧡
for MAMA Awards predictions this year ON THE STREET, People Pt. 2 and Wildflower can be nominated on Best HipHop and Urban Music. Please make sure these THREE songs by our beloved and MOST TALENTED RAPLINE are prioritized on your playlists because we have a VERY HIGH chance of winning on this category.
You definitely have to react to Jin’s Traditional Alcohol Journey!! It also has Chef Baek (Paik) who has appeared in several episodes of RunBTS! [I made this suggestion during the Suchwita portion of the reaction not realizing he was gonna watch it immediately after, lol]
@29:29 hobi encountered hiphop music through dance before BTS. His very early influences were J Cole (🥺) and Kriss Kross. He came to Seoul, learned rap through their mentor Yankee (from hiphop duo TBNY) and practiced with namgi (which were very supportive as they already have underground rap + songwriting experience) and other trainees. He very quickly caught up and had also been writing his own rap verses, freestyling and producing from early on their career!!
Yoongi saying they living five minuts away reminds me when Seokjin talk about he bumped into Yoongi when they rode the bike to work and Yoongi waved at him but he didn't know it was Yoongi and thought the person hurt his arm until Yoongi texted him "why are you riding like an old man" THIS IS PEAK COMEDY😂😂
Hi loui, just for your knowledge, they had to blur al brand that did not work or the contract already finish with BTS. In these case, play statiion and maple story. You have to watch how seokjin became apprentice for maple story company, nexon in 1 day
the game yoongi mentions jin likes to play is maple story and jin actually helped make some stuff for the game (last year, i guess. he went to work, present an idea and there are some videos on maple story channel about the whole process. it's really interesting
they censor major names and brands due to very strict rules in south korea, so dark souls, maple story, and any other game name mentioned is censored and major brands that are not sponsoring bts also majorly gets censored
It’s the tin cup Korean style. You drink the Makkoli with it. It’s a very old custom in Korea. I remember when I was a child my uncles would send me to get Makkoli with a tin tea pot. I loved doing it because on the way home I’ll drink it from the spout. Good memories!
You’re so relatable! Lol I remember becoming army in 2018 so that MAMA acceptance speech ABSOLUTELY BROKE ME. I was like I JUST GOT HERE. But obviously they had already overcome that at the time. I was just so emotional hearing them talk about it and seeing them all cry. My heart hurt so much for them.
man you should really go back to that one guide/intro to bts video you watched when you first got into bts, i don't remember if it has spoilers but you'll understand it better with all the context you have now for sure
2017-2018 was a REALLY tough year for them they talk about it in the book and armys really don’t bring that award show up because it was a tough time for us and them so we was really shocked when they brought it up 😭
Highly suggest you read the book, BTS Beyond The Story! At least up to the part you’re at in their discography. There are so many details from the members perspectives on how they started out. You would ASSUME bighit had the money for instructors and teachers, but that’s far from reality. They were a tiny company. RM and Suga passionately taught and shared their love of rap & hip hop with the other members. They called this the “rap den”. It’s SUCH A GOOD READ.
i'm so impressed u actually realised it was Hobi in split second and also in split second realised voice wasn't V too. u definitely pay close attention to them!
Ahhh tribe this was such a nice surprise I really enjoyed this! Love that suchwita episode. And u need to continue with Jin's traditional alcohol journey I think there are art 4 (?) episodes...it would be lovely if u could
hobi’s episode will be released today. and honestly i think you need to watch some compilations of sope (suga + j-hope) vlives together which they call them “hwagae market” to see more of their amazing bond
2018 was something else. They were RISING like crazy. Their growth has always been an exponential curve but everyone was suddenly chanting "this is their peak" and it was hectic, even for the fans. It was also the best year on army twitter until antis ruined it in November 2018 (N@zi accusations, terrible time). And then they were sweeping in the award shows (as they deserved) and the fans were going crazy because this was the most awards they've ever won. We all knew it was a HUGE year. And then suddenly Jin says they were thinking of disbandment. It was such a shock. Then we all went back and looked at this year once again to realise how painful it was for them. 2018 really was everything.
nah the talk about their physical abilities is so mind blowing actually, like from the news i heard about how jin & hobi are doing in the military right now is kinda crazy bcus wdym both of them keep getting promoted to higher ranks in such a quick rate they all gonna come out looking like the hulk is not a joke anymore im so not ready yall
31:37 They have a book out where they tell some stories of the beginning of their career. 33:10 I think Yoongi would make their bed frames too. He likes carpentry.
Suga and j-hope did have a rap teacher (but I can’t remember his name-they’ve both openly talked about him before). And j-hope is just a really self-directed person so he grew up in hip hop and pulled influences from them too. J. Cole for example. But having Joon and Yoongi around 24/7 surely was a huge influence. But just remember he’s been rapping for 13 years now, just a couple less than Joon. So he’s a master of his craft in his own right.
I highly recommend reading Beyond The Story, BTS’ 10th anniversary biography. It tells the story of their honest journey as a group, including their hardships in the beginning, such as BTS’ shortage of staff, space, financial support and resources predebut and during their first few active years! They really didn’t have many instructors at all, mainly just a vocal coach and their choreographer, Son Sungdeuk, plus a couple producers that included Bang Sihyuk himself. The rapline were really on their own.
In the BTS book jhope said that it was like a rap den in their dorm everyone will be freestyle n do cyphers that how jhope developed his own style of rapping.
In cast you don’t know- South Korea is kind of weird about dropping brand names on TV (they had a song called Converse High you’ll get to soon and they had to rewrite half the words) so they’ll always bleep it out of the subtitles Plus even when it’s an unofficial live or something they’ll avoid saying brand names because half the time Army will buy out whatever they mention. Jungkook once came on live to scold us for selling out a drink he likes because he couldn’t get it anymore because of us
going straight from south korea to any south american country would still be a very long flight, since it's almost the exact opposite side of the world. idk a lot about planes but i don't think a single plane has enough fuel or whatever to fly for 24+ hours lmao
You must watch Hobi’s solo performance at MAMA 2022. Make sure you see his Red Carpet, and his acceptance speeches. What he did for Jin will leave you with the best feeling. The performance was EPIC❤️🔥
no rappers didn´t have a teacher but RM and Suga also learned rap by themself or by listening to rap. they teached J-hope when they lived togehter. only the vocal line has a teacher and they also have a dancing teacher. but watch "American hustle life", BTS went to the US to study hip hop and they also learned alot. incl beatboxing
I know it showed that j-hope supposedly learned beatboxing in AHL, but he actually beatboxed before that. There are early post-debut interviews where RM is asked to freestyle and Hobi beatboxes for him. Also, I believe Big Hit had rap mentors (a rapper named Yankie for one), so he didn't only learn from Namgi, but he did practice with them.
I'm not sure if you remember but I'm pretty sure you reacted to abyss before during jin week 😮 (since you reacted to almost all their solos I think). Its definately a really good song (one of my favorites from jin😊) edit: funny enough the episode with hobi is coming out tomorrow lmao so you picked a good time to watch this😂 (we had to wait almost two months for it💀)
Loui!!! 💜Jin’s Journey is some of the best BTS content ever. Two things for your info: Sensei in Korean is Sun-sang-nim. Nim at the end of addressing someone is a term of respect. Also, the etiquette for drinking soju is to drink it from a shot glass. Give it a try next time! And if you can find grapefruit Jinro - get it! It is my fave after green grape😉
The Suchwita episode with j-hope airs tomorrow (the 19th) at 8 AM ET. And yes, you should definitely put Hobi's MAMA 2022 performance on your watch list. He also accepted awards for BTS and himself. He made a call during his 2nd speech to Jin in the military. 😂
Tae was in Mexico cus he was shooting jinnys kitchen. Tribe louis... you are really catching up on the main stories or bts by just watching suchwita.. thats awesome. The 2018 thing.... their most thoughest year while simultaneously being their most successful year. I became a fan during idol. A few months in I was watching mama and saw bts do that speech. I was in shock cus even though I've been a fan only for about 4 months then, I knew bts and their relationship with each other was different. I hope you through the bts albums.... they explain everthing in the music. Also hobi, he knew hiphop cus of dance... he just didn't try rapping until he moved into the bts dorms a month after suga in 2010. He started rapping cus he was living with about 10 rappers at the time. He would just observe how they freestyled and he would just join in even though he was a beginner. And yoongi and joon guided him on that journey. In 2011 and 2012 rapline became the official hiphop trio BTS. They made satoori rap and when they brought in the 4 vocalists... they created a school of hiphop to teach the vocal line about hiphop. Joon, yoongi and hobi would sit down at night and became teachers for the 4 vocalists and they thought them about American hiphop and its history. In the mornings hobi would teach them dance. They all thought each other something. Tribe, if you are into reading get yalls hands on the bts memoire. Its tells you everything.
alcohol made from rice aka rice wine is quite common in asia!! (East, Southeast, South Asian countries specifically) generally the alcohol is made by fermenting rice with yeast, theres so many variations of rice wine all over these countries, ie. makgeolli from South Korea, sake from japan and ours is called Lihing in Sabah, Malaysia
Hobi did his feature with Jo Kwon - Animal before he debuted with BTS, so he is being his usual modest, but he is so intense when he dives in, he absorbed like a sponge the different techniques from RM and Suga. When you get to Love Yourself Outro:Tear the Rapline, you will understand why Jin talks about potentially disbanding and how difficult it really was for our lads. Epic performance at Wembley.
Just wanna say hope you have a nice break Loui, we'll wait for your comeback day. No pressure, but I'm expecting a comeback trailer, a teaser, concept photos, new hair, new style, a making of video, a short film, a performance video, a dance practice video, and a behind the scenes video. No pressure!
29:41 namjoon and yoongi did teach him how to rap and hobi is of course a genius for picking it up this well. you should read BEYOND THE STORY to understand their circumstances back then more
Did you watch the ARMYs singing Young Forever to Bangtan at Wembley? I mean the full video of ARMYs singing and BTS' reaction and their ments. It's beautiful, you MUST watch that
on the topic of crazy bts dreams, an iconic one from twitter is someone said they dreamt that they switched body with jungkook but he refuses to switch back, and they're panicing because they don't want to damage jk's career and yelling at him on the phone like "jungkook you're not being reasonable, I don't even speak korean!" 😂
Honestly, I think getting the BTS Beyond the Story book would be super beneficial for you and your journey. It even has QR codes in the chapters for extended context 😅
Jin has talked about being roommates with Yoongi multiple times. There’s one when he said “Let’s be roommates for a long time. Even when we’re married let’s be roommates.” Hahaha also I dont know if someone already shown you but Seokjin used to write cooking blogs. There are some translated posts available still. And they’re hilarious. He takes photos and writes the process and stuff. He’s so funny and loves cooking. Also a couple of those blog posts became quite the topic 😅 in one post seokjin was just showing how he was preparing what he will cook. But in the photo you can see a reflection of a topless jungkook in the metal bowl hehe. Iconic.
there are two shows. with 2 episodes I think. one where he first learns and one where he and his friend, a famous Korean chief on TV is with him. both are good.
“I’m sure Bang PD gave them like an official instructor or something” you underestimate how broke they were 😂 Hoseok kind of just got thrown in the deep end, BTS was supposed to be a Hip Hop group so basically all of the trainees they brought in already knew how to rap (at first, it kind of changed around the time Jungkook was brought in) so while they may have had a few lessons with an instructor here or there, for the most part JHope learned from RM and Suga with probably some help from the other trainees who didn’t end up staying. When they decided to make the group more of an idol group with a hip-hop feel they did bring in proper instructors then for dance (primarily their choreographer Son Sungdeuk) but when they didn’t have them there JHope was basically in charge, it’s why he’s referred to as their Dance Leader rather than just their Main Dancer. But yeah from the sounds of it JHope was just thrown into the middle of a bunch of high schoolers constantly having rap battles and doing cyphers and just had to go for it.
To answer your question Tae was in Mexico shooting the cooking variety show Jinny’s kitchen.
I'm in this for all my lives! 😆😆
In the BTS book jhope said that it was like a rap den in their dorm everyone will be freestyle n do cyphers that how jhope developed his own style of rapping.
In cast you don’t know- South Korea is kind of weird about dropping brand names on TV (they had a song called Converse High you’ll get to soon and they had to rewrite half the words) so they’ll always bleep it out of the subtitles
Plus even when it’s an unofficial live or something they’ll avoid saying brand names because half the time Army will buy out whatever they mention. Jungkook once came on live to scold us for selling out a drink he likes because he couldn’t get it anymore because of us
I love that you stumbled across Jins alcohol show with Mr Pak! It's long but definitely a lot of fun to watch!
going straight from south korea to any south american country would still be a very long flight, since it's almost the exact opposite side of the world. idk a lot about planes but i don't think a single plane has enough fuel or whatever to fly for 24+ hours lmao
The way u be drinking the soju be makin me nervous I feel like your gonna spill it😭😭😭
You must watch Hobi’s solo performance at MAMA 2022. Make sure you see his Red Carpet, and his acceptance speeches. What he did for Jin will leave you with the best feeling. The performance was EPIC❤️🔥
There's a lot going on in that 2028 MAMA award ceremony on stage. Body language, facial expressions. Love and adore BTS!
you know you're ARMY when you recognize them from the back of their head hahahahaha
no rappers didn´t have a teacher but RM and Suga also learned rap by themself or by listening to rap. they teached J-hope when they lived togehter. only the vocal line has a teacher and they also have a dancing teacher. but watch "American hustle life", BTS went to the US to study hip hop and they also learned alot. incl beatboxing
I think you're just a bit overexposed. You should adjust your light so that it reflects properly on your face :)
perfect timing.. I def prefer watching tribe loui over work. lol
Just when I was missing them 😭
I was missing your videos too Loui 💜
10:35 you know you've been working hard when you start dreaming of your boss!!
Not Loui dreaming of Jin pls 🤣🤣🤣 Can you tell him to come to my dreams next and order me to go to work too. 🤣
You heard Abyss Jonathan. But I don't blame you for forgetting as you were listening to a lot of songs
alcohol made from rice aka rice wine is quite common in asia!! (East, Southeast, South Asian countries specifically)
generally the alcohol is made by fermenting rice with yeast, theres so many variations of rice wine all over these countries, ie. makgeolli from South Korea, sake from japan and ours is called Lihing in Sabah, Malaysia
jin exploded into dust???? thanos, what did you do?????
in case you don't know, hobi's suchwita episode comes out tomorrow july 19th at 10pm kst!
Jin Jin Jin Jin Jin Jin Jin Jin 💜💜💜💜💜💜🇦🇷 Argentina
Hobi did his feature with Jo Kwon - Animal before he debuted with BTS, so he is being his usual modest, but he is so intense when he dives in, he absorbed like a sponge the different techniques from RM and Suga. When you get to Love Yourself Outro:Tear the Rapline, you will understand why Jin talks about potentially disbanding and how difficult it really was for our lads. Epic performance at Wembley.
Has the tribe already reacted to the 1st episode is suchitwa🧎🏾♀️l loved episode 12 as well 😘💜💜💜 hobi, Jin with Yoongi is a masterpiece
Yes he did the first episode already, it's in one of his Namjoon videos
@@janetuss6496 alright thank you, l will check it out
Just wanna say hope you have a nice break Loui, we'll wait for your comeback day. No pressure, but I'm expecting a comeback trailer, a teaser, concept photos, new hair, new style, a making of video, a short film, a performance video, a dance practice video, and a behind the scenes video. No pressure!
29:41 namjoon and yoongi did teach him how to rap and hobi is of course a genius for picking it up this well. you should read BEYOND THE STORY to understand their circumstances back then more
J-hope's suchwita ep 14 is tomorrow 😊
My jinn....
Nice. This is one of my favorite of your reaction videos.
This ep is so good this is gonna be fun
I can't wait for your reaction to the mma peformaces hope you will see them soon they are so dope💜💜
I miss Jinie and Hobi... Moonie and Taetae... Minie, Jaykey and Yoonie... i miss my bros ;-;
Did you watch the ARMYs singing Young Forever to Bangtan at Wembley?
I mean the full video of ARMYs singing and BTS' reaction and their ments. It's beautiful, you MUST watch that
1:02:29 Btw! 'Teacher' in Korean is 'Son-saeng-nim'! That's the korean equivalent of 'Sensei' (which is 'teacher' in japanese).
Miss the guys so much. 😭💜
23:49 Hobi is drinking water
on the topic of crazy bts dreams, an iconic one from twitter is someone said they dreamt that they switched body with jungkook but he refuses to switch back, and they're panicing because they don't want to damage jk's career and yelling at him on the phone like "jungkook you're not being reasonable, I don't even speak korean!" 😂
ostrich feathers LOOOOOL
Iconic.
Hobi's episode on suchwita is gonna air tomorrow!!
The song name at @12:30 is Abyss!! Truly a gem. You gotta react to it Tribe Loui!!!
This was so much fun, I love every minute of this video 😊
the hobi episode air tomorrow i think i can´t remember but very soon
it is !!!! July 19, 10PM KST
there are two shows. with 2 episodes I think. one where he first learns and one where he and his friend, a famous Korean chief on TV is with him. both are good.
Nationwide Handsome what's Good?
