New Indie Games
One thing about Dread Dawn that should be mentioned: Whenever you boot it, the game launches a .bat file that sets your PC's power plan to High Performance. That's not necessarily harmful, but AFAIK there's no way of knowing that is happening (other than checking the game's Steam Discussions) and it doesn't revert to your setting before running the game, which I think is kinda suspicious.
I'm also cynical enough to say: Why the hell would you need High Performance for that kinda graphics? Does it render the whole world of the game at any given moment?
That game is 1000% a bitcoin m8nner
Another thing he didn't get to see, if you get to the part where they load the open world to explore the game struggles to load in the terrain so as the camera pans the landscape you can see all the textures of the ground slowly loading in like a grid.

I dunno about everyone else, but I'd rather you spend twice as long on the games and do 4 per video over a 6 day span. Some of them we barely saw anything of.
20:38 Oh yeah you should absolutely finish Signalis, easily one of the best indies and by far the best "intriguing horror~ish" game of 2022 imo
I think since you played it, they released a patch that fixed a few tedious things with the inventory system too, which means that some parts of it are less frustrating than before !

Hey myth, I love that your uploads always coincide with when I eat lunch so it's great that I can have videos to check out while eating. If your looking for a new series could you check out Aeterna Noctis? It's not the rogue lite but a full metroidvania

Another hidden gem is No Time, an indie time travel game. It combines time travel mechanics with an open world, which is very rare. It also gives the player the option (free will) to choose which year to travel to (and more...)

Oh I've been looking forward to Crow County, I gotta try that demo. Mouthwashing and Echo Point Nova look sick too will need to give them a go. Love these videos and looking forward to the rest =D

Crow country definitely inspired by Resident Evil or Silent Hill, very nice ambience
These are some of the demos I came across this next fest that I think were cool: Children of the Sun, Ultros, Morbid:The Lords of Ire, Pepper Grinder and Deathbound
Hope this becomes an ongoing series :D

You should check out the ultros demo (metriodvania), cool combat systems and art style, i rlly enjoyed it.

Maybe try Ultros, it's a very colourful metroidvania, and imo one of the better ones.
Zombie game looks like 15x better with silly co-op
Emberbane and Crow Country seem the most interesting to me. Hoping that Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip and Blud may find their way to you as well, together with Cookie Cutter and Clash: Artifacts of Chaos.
Ok Myth after hearing what you were saying you really like in games after playing Mouthwashing, I think you would really enjoy The Last Door. I mentioned it to you on stream once. It's a point and click adventure game set in 1890s London and it's inspired by Edgar Allen Poe and Lovecraft. It's actually the first game made by The Game Kitchen, the guys who made Blasphemous. I unfortunately don't think videos on TLD would do very well as it's a super niche game and as a point and click it's not super engaging to watch, but I think it could make for a fun stream game. I don't usually like point and click adventures as I find them boring, but the atmosphere, story, and ESPECIALLY the music (Made by the same guy who did the Blasphemous OST) is absolutely incredible and I think you would really enjoy it.
Really enjoyed the video. The 2nd game I could se that movement option getting a bit annoying like you said. I wonder if perhaps instead just offering a way to quickly turn around would be better. Like double tapping shift flips you around so you can then just use W to run or what not. But then you can't do it in the other directions that their system has. Either way looking forward to the next videos in this series? (Mini series?) whatever you call it haha.
