Game changer threading milliners or straw needles size 11. I am using standard sewing thread not the expensive fine thread. Just using what I have. I had given up trying to thread my fine needles until I bought a clover needle threader.
I'm sorry you are having problems with your threader. Some tips, lay your thread across and make sure it's getting pushed when the button is pressed. Then, you should be able to see it being pushed into the needle. It only really works with normal sewing thread. Maybe try different needles too. The needle opening needs to be facing the direction of the thread. I hope these tips help!
I loved mine for years. Then I started handquilting and it was still working great. But today it just won't work. Same quilting thread and needle I have been using for several days !
What size needle is that? Will this work for beading needles? If so it would be a game-changer for me...I love to bead but I have a degenerative disease that has left me with very bad eyesight. Thanks so much for the tutorial!
I have not tried beading needles but from reading the listing, it does not seem to work with beading needles. It only works with oval eye needles sizes .51 - .89 mm.
I bought one of these threaders - I really like it, but it seems to only work with smaller needles and not larger ones as I noticed the bigger needles don’t drop down far enough into the hole so the threader cannot thread the needle - also I’m thinking maybe my thread was too thin to be pushed into the eye of the needle - maybe I needed a stronger thread - otherwise I do like it very much - I just wish it worked for ALL sizes of needles and thread
Yeah, I think it works on the smaller needles and not the large ones. Glad you like yours too! Please subscribe to our channel and follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest for many project ideas.
Hi, thanks for your question! The manufacturer says "Most of Clover Needles (0.51-0.89 mm) for sewing and patchwork can be threaded.". It won't work with very large or very thin needles.

A needle threader is a great tool for all sewist.
It worked once for me after trying it a dozen times. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. You make it look so easy.

I have had issues with certain needles with oblong eyes, any suggestions?
I will have to try that type of needle and let you know.

does this work on threading 3 strands of embroidery thread?
No, I do not think it would work for that. Sorry!
Doesn’t work for me. What size needle and what weight thread works?

Have you got a water fall in your sewing room ?
Hi GC. We have a fish tank in the room where we take the videos.
it wont work for meLOL
Try priming it by pressing the button a few times. Go slow at first and you can probably see it working through the plastic. Good luck!
