My God.... That blue bathroom blew my mind when you went in, then the green one in the master, those were trippy as heck.. I'm 55 and was born in 68.. Giving me flashbacks son..😂😂😂😂 I can't believe they're destroying that home.. It's frikkin mint..
This house is in excellent condition!!! Why tear it down 😭😭😭 This house is perfect! Red carpet! Those wallpapered bathrooms! I’d love to live here. I’ve been watching your videos for a while. You’re one of my very favorite explorers. We like the same style of homes. And I was born in the 60s. ☺️
😂 Hey! 1965 baby here! My last 2 years of my 50s! It's all good. Love your vids. They bring me back to a great and special place. Nothing lasts forever. Ashes to ashes. Peace. 👍
That was a really fantastic retro home! It definitely was a higher-end home for the mid-60s. The foyer, and the entire home really, was what's a beautiful quality design and was apparently cared for since it was in remarkable condition for its age. Cool explore!! 😎🤟✌️
Someone took care of this home with love. Cool house you have found. A lot of great time period pieces. Well built and lots of fun items. Pretty dark in areas that are not well illuminated. The light you see while exploring is not what we see in the recording. Too bad we can't see the things you find as well as you can. Blessings and stay safe and healthy.
O my … This house is has to be the only house that looks so like the 1960/70. Everything looks in perfect condition. I really hope they don’t destroy this one😢. Thank you so very much for this video. I really in joy the older homes in amazing condition.❤❤❤
Wow! Another gorgeous house Ethan. I just love it and wouldn’t change very much if it were mine. Beautiful classic layout. Lovely foyer and staircase. Great stone fireplace. The kitchen not large but seems well thought out. I kind of remember seeing this dining room with the wallpaper and my favorite chandelier in the house though all were beautiful. Those bathrooms upstairs were so groovy. This house seems so well kept. Shame on those who want to demolish this!! I would live there in a heartbeat and just want to really update the basement. Thanks Ethan for another cool one. Take care, be well and stay safe!!
Oh my gosh i really love this one! 🥰It actually reminds me of some of the ones you did from a few yrs back. The highlights for me were the original light fixtures, the wood floors, the bathrooms (oh my heart!) and even things like that curved wall as you turn and go down the main floor hallway. The kitchen was compact, but that was sort of the style back then. You're right though, it would've been awesome to see how it looked with the original stove and fridge (i wonder if it was yellow like the walls?). As always, thank you for taking us along and stopping to point out all the special details--it's the next best thing to being there and seeing them with our own eyes. 🙂
What a well-preseved home! That shag carpet looks like it's never even been walked on. The wallpaper in the basement bath looks like 70's - reminds me of the Beatles era.
It breaks my heart to know a fantastic house like this is going to be razed. It was loved and cared for, for almost 60 years, and now it will be gone and replaced by garbage. Such a very, very sad comment on our society.
One of your best adventures! This is such a cool time capsule house! Love the bathroom and dining room wallpapers! Houses now are so boring in their decor With beiges and grays and black and white with maybe a touch of red We have become so boring! This house was certainly not boring!
Really cool! Thanks Ethan! So good to see an older home again, seems like it’s all be 80’s and 90’s lately. Love the foil wallpaper in those upstairs bathrooms!
Love this house! I was 2 in ‘65 and it brings back some very old memories. That front office screams the times from the shag carpeting to the long straight drapes. If I’m not mistaken wall to wall carpeting was a very new thing at that time and rapidly grew in popularity. The wallpaper in the bathrooms makes me think of the psychedelic era where LSD was a big influence in art. The ceiling fans I’m guessing were added on much later maybe the ‘80’s. That’s when they became very popular. You never saw them in houses in the ‘60’s that I can recall. Very nice tour Ethan. I always look forward to your videos.
Happy Easter Ethan 🐣 ...love this house ,all the wallpapers WOW...please don't say they gona get rid of this piece of history...absolutely criminal if they do...love the shape of the front staircase ...thanks Ethan stay safe well and happy 💋
Holy Cow what a blast from the past house. Wooden Floors throughout. Nice Fireplace too. The Foyer with the chandeliers just beautiful. The Bathrooms, oh my goodness . Foiled all over the walls and the Framing on the mirrors. Retro Overload. The basement just as usual for that time period and era. The bar probably lent itself to many parties and holidays. Super Cool. Fantastic job as always. Stay Safe and Peace Out.
W😍w!! Love that house! It’s still top of the line. Quality and durability. And shag carpet-it was cool but in order for it to look cool consistently it had to be raked-yes raked! Fun times. Those bathrooms were cool-and the original toilets. Used to have so many more options back then.
Another beautiful functional house with great looking ceiling lamps and chandelier. These murals are Dutch scenes, munificent bathrooms lovely house inside and out. Nice light fixtures in the basement spacious and pleasant That wall paper black and white with the faces and lines were fashionable in the seventies I like it. I also like the shutters on the basement windows. Beautiful house pleasant coloured walls great video Ethan.
This house was amazing - the fact it was still the same style as when it was built is incredible. The only main modern upgrade that I noticed was the Hunter Innova ceiling fan in the first den which is 1990s. The pther fans and some floors are definately 90/00s. The shag carpet is epic! And the bathrooms are cringeworthy good -especially the blue one - and sooooo damn cool. I would move into this house just like it is! Excellent explore as always Ethan!
Ethan - I've watched a TON of your videos and this is the first one you didn't say the word '80's' in the entire video. Good job! haha. Regardless, you're adorable and I love watching your explores. Keep them coming.
Thanks for documenting it, Ethan. I am bummed it's being torn down, as well... Imagine acquiring it as a rich person and making it a time capsule stuck in the 60s: 50s diner style kitchen, vintage furniture, vintage poster of bands and blockbuster movies popular in the 50s and 60s, vintage collectibles exposed on a glass case... The only things modern would strictly be in compliance with current day's norms. What I don't like in this house are the chandeliers. Not because of how they look, but because I firmly believe that chandeliers are made to ornate high ceilings. As a tall person, I'd bump into this crap every once in a while, in my absent-minded moments. Also, chandeliers on low ceilings just gives pinata.
What a amazing house!! I wouldn't have the heart to change much.. especially upstairs bathroom!! The counter space is amazing. Nothing like that anymore! Does anyone realize how hard it'd be to wallpaper a ceiling in pattern!! Foil paper was difficult.. amazing how things come back around. In 70s shag carpeting was still going strong. Hated it! Who owned it this do you know? Or what happened to the owners?? It's sad. The outside still looks impressive too..
Beautiful classic house. These people definitely had money but it’s not ostentatious. It’s interesting how big kitchens have become over the years for really no reason. I’d rather have the dens and family rooms like this house. Thanks for sharing.
Been going through some personal stuff ,but I miss watching what Ethan has for us .This is a great hine .i bet was beautiful ❤️ in its time .thank you Ethan for showing all us ❤i love the cobblestone fireplace
Oh my goodness, this was like walking into a house I lived in from 2000-2009 in Miami, OK. It had this same exact staircase only with mint green wool carpet and we had paneling on the walls. It too was built in 1965. The owner was pretty well off so everything was top of the line at the time. They had 4 children and each child got to pick the color of their room. One was pink walls with red carpet, blue walls-blue carpet, yellow walls, gold carpet. The other two rooms were the mint green with the mint green wool carpet. One of the bedrooms had a cedar closet too. The kids bathroom had 2 sinks and 4 towel holders. It even had a laundry chute in the shower area to send clothes down to the laundry room. The formal living and dining room was to the right and the dining room had a mural on the wall just like this house. It had an intercom system and it had a pass through from the kitchen to the dining room for entertaining. It had a small basement as well. The den had a huge rock fireplace, blue carpet and paneled walls. Most of the rooms had window seats as well. The laundry room had a sink and a stool in it and a built in ironing board. The garage had tons of storage with built in cabinets and a potting shed on the side. The outside of the house was carthage stone (we lived near Carthage, Missouri where it came from). This house was very well built. However, it looks nothing the same on the inside. It has been totally remodeled and most of the carpet removed and the paneling. It was huge, around 3200 sf. So this video brought back lots of memories from that house!!!!
Thanks again Ethan...LOVE all 3 bathrooms !! ( Plz change the title....it says "not lived in since 1966".)..even the fire extinguishers were mid 70's. You are the best!
I absolutely love that blue bathroom. This home was really kept up. That shag carpet was in exceptional shape. It really seems to be move in read, regardless of the carpet. I really don’t like the kitchen. I wonder if the cupboards are original.
Thank you Ethan for another beautiful house. This was the year i was born nice to see how the well to do people lived.lolI would love to live in it just the way it is.I love watching your explores.
Good day Ethan; this house is in really good shape for as old as it is that is for sure but sad to say I never was a fan for the 60 era when it came down to quality and the materials that they used, that’s when polyester and recycle plastics were coming into play. The best part for me was that Tiffany Ceiling looking lamp. The rest of the home is definitely dated that is for sure. Thank you for sharing Ethan. You take care and be safe.❤️🫶🏻💕
What a GORGEOUS house. WOW. The men who built this, did a fabulous job for sure. And back in the 1960's, things were a lot cheaper. Probably built this for little money. The past is better than now. Too bad they aren't selling it. This is a luxury home and there's people who would buy it.
We had lime green bathroom, my bedroom had paneling, we had linoleum covering our wood floor we had a white cupboards in our kitchen area around the sink and wood cupboards that held dishes. The rest of our house was wall paper.
I don't know why, but Shagalicious kept popping up in my head as you were going room to room. This place is in such good condition and clean for its age. Loved your reactions to the bathrooms
Like everybody else I can't believe they want to bulldoze it. Other than greed. I'm sure there are people who would like to live in a house that was built in the 60s. Just like you like 80s houses.😊
It is hard to believe that 1965 was 58 years ago. But I can name two actors who are turning 58 this year and was born in 1965, Sean Patrick Flanery of the Boondock Saints cult classic to name a few of his stuff to add to his resume and Lennie James who can had not only Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead to his resume
These are the ones I really like the true time capsules no one has ripped out the plumbing and copper. I'm like Ethan I like the 60s and 70s time capsule houses and mansions. 👌🏽
My God.... That blue bathroom blew my mind when you went in, then the green one in the master, those were trippy as heck.. I'm 55 and was born in 68.. Giving me flashbacks son..😂😂😂😂
I can't believe they're destroying that home.. It's frikkin mint..
I absolutely love this house beautiful I rate a 10
This house is in excellent condition!!! Why tear it down 😭😭😭 This house is perfect! Red carpet! Those wallpapered bathrooms! I’d love to live here.
I’ve been watching your videos for a while. You’re one of my very favorite explorers. We like the same style of homes. And I was born in the 60s. ☺️
That was a great house. I think I enjoyed your reactions to the bathrooms more than seeing the house. LOL
😂 Hey! 1965 baby here! My last 2 years of my 50s! It's all good. Love your vids. They bring me back to a great and special place. Nothing lasts forever. Ashes to ashes. Peace. 👍
Another 1965 baby here like to see why things back then would be a masterpiece as I myself am a masterpiece.❤🎉❤
This house has to be my favorite! I love the bathrooms, I was 3 in 65 so I love everything vintage, we had green shag carpet in 1970.
That was a really fantastic retro home! It definitely was a higher-end home for the mid-60s. The foyer, and the entire home really, was what's a beautiful quality design and was apparently cared for since it was in remarkable condition for its age. Cool explore!! 😎🤟✌️

So immaculate for it's age! Would be so great to be able to bring it up to this decade and have it lived in again.
O my … This house is has to be the only house that looks so like the 1960/70. Everything looks in perfect condition. I really hope they don’t destroy this one😢. Thank you so very much for this video. I really in joy the older homes in amazing condition.❤❤❤
Outstanding mansion Ethan and I love it 👍❤️😎
I TRULY LOVE IT WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR TIME FILMING THIS HOUSE'S & THE VIDEOS ARE LONGER ETHAN!!!!!
Wow! Another gorgeous house Ethan. I just love it and wouldn’t change very much if it were mine. Beautiful classic layout. Lovely foyer and staircase. Great stone fireplace. I can’t believe that this house was live in since 1966 that’s insane this house ain’t bad to be abandoned since 1960 very nice
It breaks my heart to know a fantastic house like this is going to be razed. It was loved and cared for, for almost 60 years, and now it will be gone and replaced by garbage. Such a very, very sad comment on our society.
... replaced with some boring white-white-wow-so-white McMansion, or a stack of sardine-can houses. All built for speed and not quality--all boring.
Thanks for the video Ethan. I really love this house it's just perfect as it is .I was born in 63 and like this style. 😊
Wow, this looks amazing from the outside. Can’t wait to see the inside.
WOW, JUST ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ETHAN!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
One of your best adventures! This is such a cool time capsule house! Love the bathroom and dining room wallpapers!
Houses now are so boring in their decor
With beiges and grays and black and white with maybe a touch of red
We have become so boring! This house was certainly not boring!
That place would look so nice updated Ethan. Thanks for sharing. 😊
That office Ethan would have been referred to as a Study.
Love the front room!
Love this mansion! ❤️🤘👍
Love the blue bathroom & the wallpaper in the basement bathroom
this house is so for me I was born December 8 1965 I Love It!!!
Love the green bathroom. Love the handicap grip bars.
Really cool! Thanks Ethan! So good to see an older home again, seems like it’s all be 80’s and 90’s lately. Love the foil wallpaper in those upstairs bathrooms!

Loooove the pale pink walls, almost as much as I love wood paneling lol this one is so cool

My favorite one so far. I was born the same year the house was😊
To my favorite explorer great video😊
That back basement section was a bit creepy. I agree Ethan.
Very cool explore indeed Ethan. Thank you!

Love this house, thanks Ethan!
I love the chandeliers. They're beautiful without being ostentatious. Gorgeous house with neat bathrooms. Really nice explore!
what a great find! That shag carpet reminds me of a house we lived in during the 70's' except it was green. Love the video!

Nice teal bedroom.
Remember, we were revolutionary in those days to the 50’s.
Love the stairs
Really liked the bathroom in the basement it was excellent
Been going through some personal stuff ,but I miss watching what Ethan has for us .This is a great hine .i bet was beautiful ❤️ in its time .thank you Ethan for showing all us ❤i love the cobblestone fireplace
I just love that the entire house was painted pink

Thanks again Ethan...LOVE all 3 bathrooms !! ( Plz change the title....it says "not lived in since 1966".)..even the fire extinguishers were mid 70's. You are the best!
You can tell this house was loved and very well taken care of!!!
I could live there.
Amazing 😍😍😍😍

We tried to be “futuristic” in the 60’s.

I was born in 1966 , wow it is in good shape no mold, unbelievable.
I remember this house - The bathrooms had gorgeous and fun wallpaper!
Nice. I was 9 in 1965
Sorta kinda looks like grace land from the outside
I was born in 61 so this was really interesting to me!
We had lime green bathroom, my bedroom had paneling, we had linoleum covering our wood floor we had a white cupboards in our kitchen area around the sink and wood cupboards that held dishes. The rest of our house was wall paper.
Foyer tiles are amazing!! It looks like a block of chocolate ❤
Foil paper is sick, so mid century...
I don't know why, but Shagalicious kept popping up in my head as you were going room to room. This place is in such good condition and clean for its age. Loved your reactions to the bathrooms
Not sure how I feel about all the faces watching you used the toilet in the basement lol
Hi Ethan good vlog for 60s house not to bad but best one was the other day
They definitely had housekeepers. That level of cleanliness and top condition requires full-time attention!
They are tearing down old 50s houses in my town now & replacing with apartments. Sad 🥲
Like everybody else I can't believe they want to bulldoze it. Other than greed. I'm sure there are people who would like to live in a house that was built in the 60s. Just like you like 80s houses.😊

Beautiful house!! never liked shag carpeting, and the "carpet grabbing thing" is called a tack strip,(FYI). the bathrooms were beautiful, what a shame😀
❤ the bathrooms. Would have thought kitchen would have been bigger
I think I’ve seen this house before. Did someone else post a video? Carlo or maybe Freaktography?
These are the ones I really like the true time capsules no one has ripped out the plumbing and copper. I'm like Ethan I like the 60s and 70s time capsule houses and mansions. 👌🏽
Beauty Ethan. Love it.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a beautiful home, such a waste to tear it down, just needs upgrades...
