You only need to connect 1 , only 1 speaker , then turn on the other one and press the connect+ button, now you can go to JBL Connect App and adjust something. Actually, you don't even need to download this app to connect 2 or more speakers. But if you want to use stereo mode, you have to download the app and go in the app to set which is the left, which is the right. Otherwise, the default mode is Party Mode, which means the 2 speakers share the same music and sounds. Remember, once you jump from a music app to another video app etc., The mode will automatically switch to Party Mode, then you need to back to Connect + App and adjust to Stereo Mode again.
Heanly Hyral That‘s a very good question. I tried it with my MacBook Pro a few weeks ago and it didn’t work. There was or maybe still is no app for macOS nor for Windows. Please let me now if you can manage to make it work.
@@DigitalPhilosophers I just stumbled upon this just now. Personally my ears are very sensitive so I can easily distinguish if the speakers are in Party or Stereo. You can emulate it yourself if you put the flip 4's at a 45 degree angle to your left and to your right with the jbl logo facing you. You'll notice that if its in party your ears would hear like the sound is coming directly in front of you, but if its on stereo you would hear a surround sound like dolby. Anyway to make the speakers stereo here's what I accidentally discovered. I connected my pc to my 1st jbl then pressed the connect plus button and then connected my 2nd jbl with my phone and then turned the connect plus so now they're synchronized with each other. I also discovered that the speakers can only connect to one device at a time. Anyway, I went to the jbl connect app on my phone connected to my 2nd jbl and from there changed the mode to stereo and there you go its stereo.

@@DigitalPhilosophers thank you friend. I figure that out. Sollution is not to pair both devices to your cell. Just pair one and go on pairing two speakers to each other. if you do otherwise party mode always be on. No matter you change it to stereo mode. That's all..

The Flip 4 is a STEREO speaker. It's also a speaker phone. Fidelity is awesome for its size once you get used to the sound. The Flip 4 is Stereo the Flip 5 is Mono. The 4 has a speaker phone the 5 does not. To mate the 4 with another 4 to produce stereo is a hair redundant.
The ability to separate each side of a stereo pair improves the sound of the Flip 4 enormously. When setting up a stereo speakers, putting the left and right channels results in what's called "stereo separation." Also, when you add the additional amp and drivers, the overall power output is doubled, resulting in greater overall loudness. This is important to distortion--you can keep each Flip 4 at a lower volume level than when used alone, and you get cleaner, clearer sound. If you crank them to top volume, you'll hear distortion, but you won't need to. Additionally, you can join more than 100 speakers. This is fantastic for giant rooms.
@@neuromonkey I totally concur with two channel separation. However, ever been somewhere where there was 100 JBL Flips lined up ? I haven't. I have yet to think of any scenario where you would use multiple Flips . It defeats their purpose, don't you think ?
