These dancers and their culture are the reason we must know about each other. We learn so much as they teach us so much. They share and we share. How more exciting can it be by learning from each other with music and dance
I'm from America in the state of Tennessee, wow, watching yall celebrate a Wedding is unlike anything I have ever seen. Blessings to the couple and their families. 🙏🙏👌🌟💯
I’ve rewound this video maybe 10 times .. but for my Congolese brothers and sisters, this is just how they do. Best dancers in Africa hands down which means… best dancers in the world!
Greetings from across the pond NyC Nothing beats a African wedding can't wait for my Liberian girlfriend to get married Thanks for sharing The last chap working it out
I love love love our Congolese brothers and sisters dancing it is so beautiful. People in a room not interested must be dance death. These people are Killin it on the dance floor. Girl yessssss😃
I noticed those people with their backs turned, seemingly not caring. I 1st thought maybe jealousy, but it could be that this was rehearsed a few times and they were done with it. I would still not be able to keep from watching or keeping a beat while sitting! Exciting dance!
That’s because this is their culture, this is what they do, I’m Nigerian and rewound this video maybe 10 times .. but for my Congolese brothers and sisters, this is just how they do. Best dancers in Africa hands down which means… best dancers in the world!
@@MzeewaUjiji if you have ever heard Cajun music and this sound you would easily see the similarities. Also if you know which people actually settled in New Orleans, one of the busiest sea ports in the early Americas ( aka huge place to drop of slaves and peoples of all kinds) the you would understand the nature of the comment. Moving on 👀🤦
Great job dancers, good coordination. The dresses are beautiful, but should have been a couple of inches shorter, i can see it took great concentration to avoid stepping on the hem of the dresses. i enjoyed the dance from these young people.
Ah... oh... ok, but I saw you in a video Reddy Amisi posted just a few days ago, from a recent concert he did in the Kinshasa quarter of Matonge.. ua-cam.com/video/vyX2HM8DNaM/v-deo.html
There's just something that catches the eye when black folks move in unison...no matter where they are or where they're from....that woman is setting it off!
What a stunning wedding parrty!Every last one of them was beautiful 🤩 but they all danced in staring at the floor looking bored and irritated AF at being forced into this 😆 eventually they remembered to look like they were having fun and that's all that matters 😂🕺🏻💃🏻
It is called respect and humility. Two very prized African qualities. There are many people in the audience who are older than the dancers are, who probably include their parents. Displaying deference to older people is not optional, which explains the orderliness and order you see in the dance and the audience. You may have much too learn so that you can desist from associating such epithets "as f@ck", with occasions of family, love and social decorum.
I've watched SO many of these videos of different African wedding dances by the wedding party, and the bridesmaids (especially the dresses), were stunning. Here in US, there still is trouble with bridesmaid's dresses that aren't ugly AF.
What a beautiful culture! The music, the dance, the spirit just a powerful force. I don't even understand the language but I feel it as if I knew the words themselves.
It ain’t enough anymore to walk down the isle and stand as witnesses to the wedding. It’s a requirement you have to know how to dance and kick off the reception now too. Lol. Beautiful dance🎊
Maybe for you an American but with us Africans we've been dancing like this for years, before colonization years... so educate yourself before coming on here being facetious and snarky
I am sitting here in my home, tapping both feet, bopping to the music and so many people in that room seem to be totally uninterested in what they are doing...What's up with that???
FANTASTIC!!! Everyone in the wedding looks like a model! It's like a professional production! I love the sense of celebration regardless but the quality of the performance is amazing!
@@elcl2877 True, but there is also the fact that in most Congolese weddings the bridal party’s entrance is not usually when the guests start dancing. There is another part of this wedding on this channel showing the guests dancing.
I've just watched an expert Russian lady explaining the 1920's Charleston and other associated dance moves and she totally credited to African dance heritage, you can see it here. Very commendable.
African posing 😁😁 that's all .... Our culture.....guests all poised straight....have to look composed at all times ...they are fronting, pretending...that's us! The front girl is 👍👍👍👍...name of song?
now that's a true leader in the front. she knows what she is doing and making it effortless for everyone else.
NOW THAT IS HOW YOU MAKE AN ENTRANCE!!
The Congolese are great dancers and musicians. From 🇪🇹
Beautiful, yes congolese never disappoint
🔥The guests are like hurry up so that we can eat🤣
They all looked stunning moving in unison while dressed fabulously! Congrats to the happy couple!
These dancers and their culture are the reason we must know about each other. We learn so much as they teach us so much. They share and we share. How more exciting can it be by learning from each other with music and dance
Amen!!
They don’t be playing when they come down the aisle I love watching the wedding dances ❤fantastic movement

They must be there for the food only. 😳
They've probably been through all the rehearsals and are done and bored to death already lol

Excellent! Every one was in sync. Loving that color they had on. Awww, I was hoping to see the bride. I bet she looked absolutely gorgeous ❤

There's another video with bride and groom
Impressed with the lack of high heels too, always thought they were ridiculous.
I’m African American I will have a traditional African wedding it is a part me I’m glad to have Nigerian in my blood ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹
Quite different wedding cultures, there. Nigeria is in West Africa, this is from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central-Southern Africa. 😊
Beautiful classy wedding dance performance……no tweaking nasty stuff.
From one Nigerian to another - You rock❤
As a creole descendant, if the thumbs hadn't said Congolese, I would have SWORN that music was Zydeco. The Diaspora just oozes flavor and style. 🎊🥂🎊🎉
@ texasgirlmomx2
A fellow creole here…. Agreed. This was awesome
Yessss I heard influences of Caribbean and some Spanish style guitar. Truly the diaspora is strong!
Comme Zouk
Not at all. This is a structured sebene. It is NOT Zydeco

this is the coolest thing EVER!!!! What talent!
Go ahead, you all!!! You make me want to dance, too!!!!
It's taking me back to Kinshasa in the late 90s, dancing ndombolo to Koffi Olomide. 🙂

Sister in the front🔥🔥🔥
Toutes et tous synchronisés !!!! Magnifique
There's just something that catches the eye when black folks move in unison...no matter where they are or where they're from....that woman is setting it off!
They are beautiful
The quest seem like they don't like this dance
That was so entertaining and different. Congratulations to all of the dancers, you were wonderful!

Africans you are the best !!!!!! We always have a great time @ our weddings .when it comes to dancing we take the trophy 🏆
What beautiful desses! And nice dancing. Good to eventually see smiles, they were looking too solemn at first lol that last couple was grooving!
That is how you make an entrance. Beautiful. 😀
Fabulous. Skinny girl out front lead that thing! Are Congolese men required to wear dark glasses?
That's it! Am having a Congolese entrance at my wedding! gotta find some Congolese dancers first 😅
J'aime trop la chorégraphie!!!! Je vais danser ça au mariage de ma soeur!! 🇨🇩❤
Ohhh merci ma Cherie ❤️

West Africans have the best Tailors , i guess its cause of their dressing styles has influenced

Yes, true that Congolese never disappoint! It’s in you blood!❤
Absolutely flawless
They did that!🔥🔥🔥🔥

Got to admit, I think this was the coolest wedding party entrance I’ve sever seen!! Had to be a lot of re-hearsal!
I wish this choreography would just pass through our work cafeteria at lunch break with no explanation. 😊😊
I'm ready to join the wedding party with the groomsmen and maid's of honor .💃🎶
Hey
FANTASTIC!!! Everyone in the wedding looks like a model! It's like a professional production! I love the sense of celebration regardless but the quality of the performance is amazing!
They are all so beautiful.
The ❤ is Just in my blood, feels like jumping and twisting with them 😂😂
Superbe entrée .Bravo aux danseurs 🕺🏾💃🏽👏🏾
These weddings are so joyful. I hope their success rate is higher than society at large 😉
Everyone looks bored out of their skulls.
The best entrance dance I have ever seen.
the guests look unimpressed! haha i love them
Right😂no one cared. One lady in the comments said they needed more training on the dance. 😂
Us Congolese are always like this at weddings unfortunately, I think it’s cause we’re used to it !
@@elcl2877 True, but there is also the fact that in most Congolese weddings the bridal party’s entrance is not usually when the guests start dancing. There is another part of this wedding on this channel showing the guests dancing.

Lucky Dube? The foreign music he sung died with him
Well choreographed dance. LOVELY

Whaou ce sont des mariages qui doivent coûter super cher. Les danseurs sont des professionnels ou demoiselles et garçons d'honneur ?
Lot of steps to remember. Gorgeous Royal blue
