@@SociallyGuide If I translate into GBP I think about 330 (fly more combo with free 128GB Scandisk Extreme) Not cheap here unfortunately :-). Hope you are having fun !

Had this one for a month so far and already bought the mini 4 pro found a new hobby

You need to set your return to home height, you don't need to hold return to home once it's started either
Ohhhh ok. what best setting? I left it as default for now. Is that bad?
@@SociallyGuide not really but that why it climbs so high on return, if you not flying around anything high that it could hit on return I'd lower it down but then you need to remember to higher it if you change location, I'd also suggest using cine mode while you get used to flying as it's smoother and slower

You've set your RTH (Return To Home) height way too high for where you're flying. You just need to set it to a height that's say 10m higher than the highest obstacle near you.
Looks like you have it set to the maximum which means it's got to go up that high first before it starts the RTH manoeuvre. That's going to use up battery when you really want it to be coming back to you as soon as possible.

as a self qualified drone aviation cinematographer with expert certification from youtube, i would recommnend simple shots to get started.
slow fly in, slow fly backwards, forward and gimbal pan up.
dont show the camera turning in your videos, it looks real bad
i know the urge to show this stuff off is real, but only show off your best shots.
davinci resolve is free, use it to edit your footage and edit to the beat of the tune.

DJI drones and EFC's etc are apparently getting banned along with loads of other Chinese electrical products which I think is fkin pathetic!
I am not aware of this. Any more information on this?

National Security Concerns: The Countering CCP Drones Act poses a threat to DJI’s US business. If signed into law, it would add DJI’s telecommunications and video surveillance equipment to an FCC list of products posing “unacceptable risk to US national security.” This could prevent new DJI models from connecting to US communications infrastructure1.
Human Rights Issues: The US government added DJI to its Entity List, alleging the company’s involvement in human rights violations in China. While this doesn’t ban people from buying DJI drones, it restricts technology transfers from the US to DJI2.
State Ownership and Vulnerabilities: DJI’s close ties to Chinese state-owned businesses (6% of its stocks) raise concerns. There are fears of vulnerabilities or backdoors in the DJI app, and profits potentially strengthening the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)3.
Military Allegations: DJI faced allegations that its tech aided Beijing in surveillance and repression of Muslim Uighurs. Recent interdictions suggest companies with close ties to China’s army represent quasi-units of the military4.
Unintended Consequences: A ban on DJI could harm US free enterprise and competitiveness. DJI’s software powers commonly used drones, and this decision affects domestic innovation through no fault of their own5.
In summary, the ban is driven by a mix of national security, human rights, and geopolitical concerns. However, the final outcome depends on legislative processes and potential reconciliation between the House and Senate versions of the National Defense Authorization Act.
