Honestly, I'm happy about one thing: the new pass makes it easier to get stuff for free because the coin was hard to come by. If you wanted more, you had to play RTA, which I don't like. So, I like the whole leveling system. However, I'm not happy about the limit of 5 XP per day.

I was working my butt in arena just to keep up champs 2. Hearing that it's almost impossible to climb higher because of the people camping in their rank is even more frustrating ngl.
Just to clarify, those are two different topics you got mixed up: 1) Camping on high legend is messing with the other players trying to get top100 frame at the end of the season (min 16:50). 2) The point inflation comes from how crazy the winstreak bonus points (minute 2:05) is in the new arena system. Actually many new players have been able to climb to higher ranks instead of camping at chall5 like before. I hope you can reach higher too.
It's funny, ml luna made so that almost all arena defence teams have Belian now (I'm in emp right now) so I'm almost always using Roana and it solves most problems. Against that team at the end I would have used Roana, Laia, Dark Corvus (??) and Elvira. Even if the Belian had been injury (most seem to be counter currently) it wouldn't have made much difference as I would have gone against Belian first anyway. If Belian was in the back with ml Senya, I'd go for Ayifine to charge up Dcorvus faster and probably would have outdamage the injuries anyway. If no ml Senya use ml Ken instead.
Weird thing is that this new format is very good for those that played it safe in the graveyard rank. trying to maintain 5,000 points meant taking few risks.. now I have 5,780 points and yet still around rank 8670 and thats still in the graveyard rank 😅 so that means we are happy to take risks now coz drop point is very far.. so overall there is a lot of active playing, maybe not for the top 10..but my rank means a lot of sleeping giants are taking risks and its not punishing anymore
In this video I was really hoping you would actually say what teams work against them. I was cleaving with high WR but not its protection set, bastion of perlutia Belian, evasion Jenua, dragon bride and Luna or Sea Poli. I’m at a loss
A very easy fix would be for the ranking to change when loging into the game and not only when entering the arena menu. Would they dare to not log into the game for an entire week before next monday?
Great video, you have the best takes on epic7 mechanics and balance. Do you know if anyone has covered strategy for defense and attack in Arena? For example what are the different styles of defense and offense, what are some good counter picks vs meta defenses etc.
Made my climb to Emp skystones on monday, i was at like 6450 points (champ 2) and had 33 streak to get Emp 1. So i refreshed 4 times. Very worth it but this shit is dumb
Yeah I learned it the hard way :( I had a 27 win streak and I refreshed the opponents because I wanted to test lifesteal woukong vs jenua and there weren't any jenuas.... that hurt a lot. I'm currently on a 28 win streak, and like rank 39 or something, probably less caz I probably got hit a lot by now.

i could make that video but teams change so fast. I did demo a team at the end that works against pretty much all non-jenua defenses
