airbags deploying at such a low speed is ridiculous and can actually cause more damage then not. It certainly is very costly to replace for a minor 10mph fender bender.
I've been in an accident at about 15 MPH where my sister's Cavalier slid into the back of a Jeep. No damage to the Jeep, with damage to the hood, bumper, and radiator on her car. The airbags did not deploy, and didn't need to since our heads didn't even move enough to touch the steering wheel or dashboard. Airbag deployment here is ridiculous.
MicroKORGI its a Mexican one and those do work like the American one's do. The Mexico ones have Amore earlier airbag deployment is because what a Mexico requires on their low speed crash test. They do really shity crash W test.
Probably more than that considering the entire front end needs to be replaced sheet metal wise and plastics. Also you can see the force was spread throughout the entire car so everything is now a little off. Might as well consider it totalled.
I've been in two off set side front impact accident and my air bag never deployed car still drivable just need to replace side panel and head lamp cover I have a fusion btw
that's a lot of damage on the car for such a low speed crash...but then again the bumpers on that euro focus are shit compared to the bumpers on the american focus lol!
All fords in any country they are made in have the same thickness steel plate that they are made from, to save FORD some money, but yes they are tinny, I would not like to be in one in a crash.
That was the most calmest crash ive ever heard

Hopefully its just a glitch

Why is the airbags inflating at a 8 mph impact?
max france Fords are not shit cars. GMs are.
Jeremy Good exactly
Ford 😅
+max france yeah i bet you've got a shit car
It seems a modified car for showing the airbag function. I've crashed faster than this with a Focus, and airbags didn't deploy.

why do the airbags deploy? Completly needless on this speed only makes repairs more expensive
Probably one of the crash sensors might of misread the crash and caused an accidental deployment
Airbag WTF?
Look everyone Fords new safety feature !! Windshield Wipers that turn on after a crash , that way you can see cleary through the airbag!
I wanted to comment that too lol
why low speed crash, airbags also deployed

Differnt car. How fast?
They have crash standards in Mexico? Interesting.
Incorrecto.
Why the audience.. Is this a day out entertainment for some?
Perfect
NO. FUCKING. NEED. FOR. AIRBAGS.
