I feel like no other country has a band that has done so many different things like Malice Mizer, from the music, to the skits, to the live shows. They’re just one-of-a-kind!
OOH there’s this one video where Yuki and Mana are at a park or something and mana’s just driving around on a go kart in the background while Yuki speaks LMFAOO. Pretty sure it’s in the same video with Kami on the carousel it makes me oddly happy every time
Malice Mizer is my inspiration. A band that provided great music, great contents, and members with unique and interesting personalities. A band like this is bound to succeed, it's no surprise that they did. I'll forever praise them as one of the greatest bands of all time, as not every band can give that same experience you get when listening through their discography and watching their music videos. They managed to convey such artistry, one that lingers in your mind and shall continue to for years. And each time you think of them, you'll feel the exact same feelings as when you were listening to and watching them: pure warmth and appreciation. Appreciation for the mere existence of such a band, and appreciation for the fact that you just so happened to have been around at this time in history to be able to know of them. Although surely a coincidence, entirely a blessing.

I had one friend that like them and Gackt and we watched as many music videos as we could. She even made me a birthday card with him on it haha It was so hard to find stuff tho. I wish I could have seen them perform back then. But being in high school going to Japan was not possible. I do miss those days sometimes, made it all more special to find something good.
